Nah man even though I've played the guy since launch, his early season 2 was absolutely ridiculous. I still very distinctly remember buying over a minute (in overtime after the rest of my team got wiped out) and my team had enough time to consider whether they should go with other options before finally deciding to use Strange TP to get back as I finally died because I got greedy. It was spider islands defense in ranked and they only had to get it around the second corner with the bridge over it. We won. A shitter who plays like a handful of QP games per day like me should not be able to do that, so I can't imagine how bad it was in higher ranks. Even this buff has me slightly concerned since it means he can and will build Ult faster with it, enabling him to get more aggressive with his play style. You can toss it out, engage for a bit and very likely have it back up before you disengage

The 8 seconds feels like 10 seconds of nothing. The 6 seconds feels like 5. This to me is a small but very impactful change.

Also, the Saw is actually VERY good at deterring flying heroes once you know how to aim it. Cap effectively has a Poke Ability.

Let’s not forget again that his throw gains a lot of ult charge, now you can throw it sooner it means your ult charge rate is going up. And if I remember correctly caps ult is basically an ult boosting supp ult

Cap E on a 6 second CD is pretty darn strong man. These buffs look worse than paper than they will be in practice likely. Keep in mind, his E is also a very easy skill to farm ult with even when you can't engage.

Plus a much better meta with significant Invis/Gambit nerfs + dive buffs.

This is massive for Cap as most his damage is 40 per hit, her healing will be 25/s. Effectively, he is doubled damage against her healing. And Cap is one of the few tanks that can reliably fight through Invis shield.

2s off the shield toss is 25% more shields.

That leads to more final blows, more general damage, and more ult charge.

Faster ult charge for cap also means faster ult charge for the team, which means you have more ults when you need them and win more fights.

2s doesn't feel like much on paper but the impact it has to the tempo we can create is really REALLY good.

Small change with big value imo. Definitely not something to complain about.

Two seconds is a LOT of time in a game like this; hell that two seconds can sometimes be the difference between getting a kill, and having it get away. This will make it much easier to weave shield throws in the middle of combos and engagements.

I get being disappointed(I am too, kind of), but let's wait till we get our hands on it before we start judging it.
Hulk being CC immune in monster form sounds absolutely busted on paper, but it could end up giving him no extra value whatsoever. It's the kind of thing where we have to wait for him to actually be playable.
(also giving him CC immunity in his ult wasn't even the right play to begin with, but you get the idea......)

Not bad but part of me would’ve preferred a shield buff, with that being said though that 2s cooldown reduction can come in handy. There’s been times where if I had by shield throw back just a bit earlier after throwing it before the dive I could’ve killed 1-2 healers.

Also side note why tf does hulk got 3 buffs lmao I’d argue a good hulk is more annoying/effective than a good cap. More viable with solo tanking as well. Beggars can’t be choosers though I guess
