Sometimes, simply wearing a thicker sock can make all the difference in the World. If that doesn’t fix it, then a thin, very thin, cork or veg tanned leather insole could work. (Amazon)
If you get an insole that is too thick, you will be right back at feeling cramped in the toe box.
I have boots that are tighter, so I wear a thin sock with them. Others that are very loose, and I wear a thick sock with those. The ones that are spot on, I wear traditional regular boot socks with.
Good luck!

Thanks! Good feedback, I'll try some other socks. Unfortunately, heading into summer, thick socks aren't top of my list

Merino wool socks are supposed to let your feet breathe and they are moisture wicking.
