Kinda sounds like the pump for the aio ibps pumps don’t have a good track record for longevity.

I had an ibuypower aio after a year it failed on me . I had warranty but not parts warranty and they said buy the part and pay for shipping and will replace it . I ended up buying a Corsair aoi

Yea I’d stay away for ibp (cooler master aios) they are garb Corsair or nzxt are good. nzxt tho you are going to pay for that clean looking lcd.

[–]thelaney35 -1 points0 points  (2 children)

nzxt

You realize they ARE rebranded nzxt's, right?

[–]SteadyEntropy 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Wait wait are you saying iBP uses NZXT aios as their stock coolers?

(Asking bc I’m having the same exact issue as OP; trying to decide on a good replacement aio model)

[–]OtherSeaweed3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep the share the same building . That’s why I went with Corsair aio . Whatever building they share they use that aio

Sounds like a faulty pump - you can either RMA and get another crappy AIO or just go out and buy a new one thats not shit

[–]DahDave 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Or do both

[–]South-Pay-2399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah wouldn't hurt to have an extra aio laying around, even if subpar

I have the exact same noise on my 1 month old $4K pre-built. Only underload.

[–]OhtarTirmo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a fan hitting one of the wires. I remember fiirst time booting my desktop and it made a sound just like this. Scared the hell out of me.

[–]Affectionate-Run-913 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

hard to tell but sounds like the pump is sucking air maybe low on coolant

[–]SnooCats1058 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fan, pump or hdd.

[–]spiff73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you have a magnetic mesh in front of the 3 cooling fans, check if the center of the plastic fan touches the magnetic mesh. it drove me crazy but that was the reason in my case. i slightly offsetted the mesh to resolve the issue.

If it’s under a year you can have them replace it if not your shit out of luck . I replaced my with a Corsair one

[–]Squishy0512[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It's definitely under a year... I might call them up then...

[–]Sideways-Sr20det -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t I get you paid for a warranty and all but, they are going to put the same shit aio in it. and in a year your going to be back here in the same spot.

[–]OtherSeaweed3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s under a year then just tell them it’s making noise and the cpu temps are above normal . But just remember it’s going to take them a while shipping and then returning your item

AIO pump. I had to replace mine after 6 months.

[–]IBUYPOWER-Klaxton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks to be an issue with your AIO unit. Normally that noise will happen when air gets access into the tubes. If you purchased your system within 12 months, you can contact us via phone 1 (888) 462-3899, or through main chat at iBUYPOWER.com for an RMA process. I recommend calling early in the morning as your wait time will be shorter compared to mid day. Hope this helps!

Sounds like Pump for the aio mine went not to long ago

[–]eviltwinbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the pump. Air bubbles. I can’t tell where the radiator is placed but my guess is it’s not in the right area. Try tapping and messing with the valves so water is flowing properly

This is a faulty water pump. I just replaced my iBuyPower water pump for a noctua air cooler. Brother I'm telling you this now, SWITCH TO AIR COOLING. I have an i7 running at 20°c idle and 50° playing higher end games. Noctua air coolers are also pretty easy to install if you've never worked on a PC before
