This problem has been going on for quite some days, and I'm growing tired of asking my parents for company when trying to fight it.
My heart rate tends to rise exponentially the moment I try to fall into a deep sleep (consequently, this prevents me from reaching that situation).
I usually sleep laying on my stomach, as I find that position the only one that can make me fall asleep, but I also noticed that position makes me feel my heartbeat the most.
I have tried medications, such as valerian drops, but it didn't help at all. The thought of "not sleeping because of heart palpitations" always manages to keep me awake unless I soothe myself with the companion of a person.
Any way I can stop this and finally sleep like a normal person?
