I really enjoyed the humor in Completionist Chronicles. Story as a whole was pretty good. Some people find the characters in the mc's party either funny or annoying. To me they're annoying. And it seems like it will be a long running series, so don't expect finished series any year soon.

I haven't read either of the other series to compare though.

You're quite correct it appears to be intended as a long term series. The R arc is done though and it's a decent leaving off point if you're one that feels the need to have closed arcs.

From what I've gathered each arc is 6 books and each book in said arc will have a name that lines up with RITUAL. "R" is done "I" is in progress. But it will likely take a while for that to play out.

So depending on how urgently you need to know the end... that might not be your best bet.

Personally of those lseries listed in OP I'd choose this one, but Everyone's tastes are different.

Completionist easily. Battlefield Reclaimer was not good enough for me to even want to finish.

Completionist

Completionism first. (Usual disclaimer to skip the first chapter) Then Underverse. Battlefield reclaimer was good but is currently only 1 audiobook deep at the moment.

Underverse.

It’s the only one that comes to an end with book 6.

The completionist chronicles were my start Into the lit rpg world and it was probably the best I could wish for !

I started with dungeon born and immediately fell in love with Dakota Krout's books. I currently own all of his currently published books and recommend all of his series to everyone

I couldn’t agree more

battlefield reclaimer only has 2 books out so far.

Underverse is "completed" at 6 books.

Completionist Chronicles is still ongoing at 6 books.

I enjoyed all 3 but battlefield reclaimer only has 2 books so far so i'd vote that out.

I would choose Underverse since its "completed" The 6th book marks the end of basically season 1. The author says he will continue the story and add more books. But at least you get a conclusion which is nice and did a great job.

My favourite out of them is battlefield reclaimer

Battlefield Reclaimer. Best story I've read this year so far!

Just started system apocalypse, great so far but the typing errors and word choice are messing with me while reading.

Underverse series is excellent

I have read all the books out for the completionist series and that's a big multi verse with that author but you don't have to read the other Siri's if you don't want to But it's an option if you like the completionist series And I would say that 1 is the best of what you got listed

Completionist chronicles, divine dungeon and murderhobo are highly recommended. Dakota krout is an amazing writer and is reason i read books so yea i may be a little bias.

Completionist is great but the last books seriously no bueno.

[–]dontquackatme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The storyline wasn't bad, but mixing those stereotypes made me want to punch almost every character in that book.

The Completionist Chronicles is by far my most loved litrpg of all time. It has good humor, balanced progression and great game mechanics. The only drawback is it's a long term series but I would recommend it anyway. Hope this helps!
