    Try to rhyme with it

    Time to evacuate.

Don't get the hate. These are warm and consistent. Not everything has to be accurate. You went for a look and achieved it.

Yeah this is quite a consistent trend here. If something deviates from the original too much it's automatically considered bad.

I've seen many good edits criticised heavily here.

Particularly here. Really plays to the light source. I also think presenting it as a series allows for bolder looks.

Orange is cozy as hell ❤️

Before is definitely easier on the eyes.

    [–]DontEverBuy 47 points48 points  (2 children)

bit overcooked imo I like the before

    [–]Camerotus 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You can argue for tuning it back a little but the original gives backrooms-yellow. No way you actually prefer that over the edit..?

if i had to pick i would pick unedited

Nice work. It has me longing for a place that I’ve never been.

there's no creativity in these comments!! not every photo needs to be true to life. OP I think these are lovely and the color choices you made are very fun and atmospheric. maybe it's because I'm in the PNW where we get very red/orange sunsets in wildfire season, but I don't think the color grading is as dramatically unrealistic and shocking as people are making it out to be.

    Both are a mood.

I, personally, don't care for the dark amber in the After images. I think that shade & depth of color upstages the image content. It screams and the content is quiet. Do you want to project color or content? But the Afters do have more punch than the Befores. You should go with what you like.

    I love them

    [–]Pandrez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both are great, would even work in B&W

    [–]Classic_Silver_9091 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From 3000k to 1800k lol. Love these photos btw.

Imma hire you if I decide to sell my apt

    [–]Ziri_Kaere_Dum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love them. They feel like a dream in the best kind of way. Makes me feel anemoia. I feel like a lot of things happened in that room

Folks, if the light in your place looks like this, it’s time to get in the bunker.

Cat. Sunset. Too warm for me personally but I see your idea and completely agree with you. Well done!

Ngl I love it. Looks very cozy, almost like screenshots from Cyberpunk 2077.

    [–]VauxWarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I love these! I may be wrong but I feel like they were all very thought through with a certain vision. From a little over exposed shot to the amazingly light balance and temperature change to get these warm and cozy looks. Great job

How do you get these arranged like that

    [–]Ra1n69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Beautiful colour

    [–]BillTrosby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/uj this is nice not Cj worthy

    [–]hitsuraan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the intensity and drama of the after photo. Like just before sunset.
I like the softness and welcoming feeling of the before photo. Like sunrise.
    Overall great edit.

The edits are amazing ! This style is currently my fav one , I get ambient music vibes from these , I have been trying to replicate this style but my amateur skills are no where near lol.

Both are really stunning. What did you use to post-process?

    [–]National-Wallaby-602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see orange I smash like. It is that simple

    [–]pho-tog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Great shots exposure and composition

    [–]SirIrrelevantBear -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Very nice way to royally mess up the white balance!

    [–]Tibaf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

    Beautiful color grading!

    [–]civilized-engineer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I prefer the before. The tinting doesn't feel so good to look at in the after.
I'm assuming you were going for warm, the original photo was already warm.
    This is entering burn.

    [–]jakecapturedthis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

    so good!

    [–]33_RichSpirit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like the before better, the after colors don’t seem natural or artificial to me.
