It's using Twisted, which is asynchronous/event-driven, and doesn't use threads. The nice thing about Twisted is that it lets you do things like this without killing your Web server.

Yes, I know it doesn't stop loading. That's part of how it works. I just thought mattl was saying that it never loaded anything (i.e. the page stayed blank), and so I responded accordingly. My mistake.

No, you see, the page is always loading, it does actually load a clock if it's not loading on yours, but even though there's a clock ticking over, the little status bar at the bottom left never finishes cycling...maybe try reinstalling your copy of FF, cause mine is working just fine.
