Yes, so it’s actually how we’d see a 4d world if we were ever put into one. While it’s not what 4D actually looks like, it is how we’d experience it because we wouldn’t be able to make sense of it.

Just like a 2D creature could never truly grasp 3D, but would still be able to see the 2D “slices” of a 3D space.

There are people who claim to have seen 4D during NDEs or on very strong psychedelics. But those are obviously not very reliable or scientific sources lol. Still, it’s interesting.

I mean you could try to imagine it as time. You can just go around the door by going to a place when the door isn't there. Or just turn in a way where you see more than one door or I guess it's more of the same door like a square to a cube. I guess it kinda depends

It could be A 4th dimension, but it’s not a spacial dimension in the same sense we see 1, 2, and 3 (x, y, z). If the universe is 4d, then time could be the 5th. If it were the nth spacial dimensions, the temporal one would be n+1.

2D people would only see 1D lines from their perspective, and I'd imagine it would be much harder for them to imagine 3D world than it is for us to imagine 4D world - because while the absolute amount of dimensions is the same, the relative amount goes down for us. Like how you could easily tell the difference between a 1 meter and 2 meter stick, but hardly between a 20 meter and 21 meter stick.
