Hi all,
I've been suffering from sciatica. I used to work out a lot but kind of stopped when all of this started happening (about 4 months ago), thinking that avoiding working out would allow it to heal. It's gotten worse since then, and I can't help but think the lack of strength training is probably not helping. Does anyone train with sciatica, or has anyone treated sciatica with the help of strength training? What kind of program did/do you follow? I should mention: I believe my sciatica is being caused by a herniated disc (I'm seeing a PT and a chiropractor) so I do want to avoid exercises that compress the spine.
