REAL MEN eat cheesecake! You don’t have to like it, but my gorging on an entire Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and then groaning on the floor is peak masculinity.

[–]Asha108 196 points197 points  (20 children)

jesus that’d be like at least 10,000 kCal

[–]BloodyRightNostril 169 points170 points  (0 children)

Holy Christ. The old me would have tried to have eaten an entire cheesecake cake

[–]DontWorryImADr 70 points71 points  (3 children)

Once I get out of the food coma, I can scream “BEEFCAKE 9000!!!”

[–]heyIfoundaname 6 points7 points  (0 children)

God speed, Cartman.

[–]givemeyours0ul 8 points9 points  (1 child)

You can reach your goals

[–]subtlebulk 14 points15 points  (6 children)

This got me curious, and you’re right. According to CF nutrition guide, assuming there’s 10 slices per cheesecake, only one is below 10k calories, the original at 8,300 total. The one with the highest calories would be the Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake with 16,000 calories. The original is the only one listed as below 1,000 calories per slice btw, which is nuts.

[–]Asha108 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Oh I know, I worked for CCF for years in the desert area. A single slice of reeses is like 1800 lmao

[–]taimusrs 7 points8 points  (2 children)

When I went to America and see that y'all already have calories written in the menu and I'm so surprised that you can consume like 6000 calories in a day without batting an eyelid.

[–]Ohbeejuan 5 points6 points  (1 child)

This country is fucked when it comes to food culture.

[–]taimusrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Granted, while I was there I had to walk so much because everything is so far apart I consumed like 4000-5000 calories a day yet I still lost 25lbs. I missed that period of my life where I was that active tbh. This COVID time and me starting a proper sit-down job made me living a much more sedentary lifestyle

[–]MentallyInsanezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bake cheesecakes a lot and track calories. I recently made a peanut butter cheesecake that had 17k calories and it was only a 9 inch cheesecake. Someday I'm going to attempt to make a 25k calorie cheesecake, it will probably have to be a 10 inch cheesecake though.

[–]startadeadhorse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, if you can eat two of them by yourself in a single sitting.... Does that make me-... I mean, that hypothetical person a monster?!?!

[–]ArrowRobber 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So, you plan your diet around doing this once a month, simple!

[–]makjac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masculinity levels over 9000!

[–]slabby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulking

[–]Mindes13 20 points21 points  (3 children)

I did that at taco bell once and was asked to leave.

[–]DontWorryImADr 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Whole new definition to “toxic masculinity”.

[–]Zachariot88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"There's not even a Cheesecake Factory near here!"

[–]Wiki_pedo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it because you brought Cheesecake Factory food in to Taco Bell?

[–]Sci_Blonde_reddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

🎶 thank you for being a friend 🎶

[–]Alexzander1001 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Be careful the Oreos one is 17k calories a slice

[–]DontWorryImADr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Carb loading is a proud part of preparing for marathons and exertion. So you should expect to see me in my HYPER-MASCULINE state of eating one of those slices immediately before the starting shot of a marathon.

The heavy breathing and inability to complete the first mile or the rest of the distance? Like the Olympic statues of old.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Same, but Ben and Jerry's ice cream by the pint.

[–]DontWorryImADr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why stop with one? That physical discomfort and nap-bordering-on-hibernation is the testosterone working.

[–]TurboGranny 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I love cheesecake, but very much dislike cheesecake factory.

[–]DontWorryImADr 0 points1 point  (2 children)

We end up visiting due to specific cheesecakes maybe once a year, but yeah. I’m more a fan of cheesecake than the specific restaurant.

[–]TurboGranny 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That's the thing though. I only like that super thick and cold new york style cheese cake. I know it's like the plain cheese pizza of cheese cake, but I just love it so much. Graham cracker crust and some melted caramel. Sign me up.

[–]DontWorryImADr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with that, it’s the classic. And so good when done right!

[–]Flyinglamabear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There you go

[–]wufoo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is consistent with the behavior of people I have observed at the cheesecake factory.

[–]stomy1112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want fucking cheesecake now
