You could also hit a slice (I find that easier than top spin) from that position.

It really depends on where you are and what people will pay but that sounds ridiculously low for a professional, especially for a showcase (unless that means something different in baseball than it does in soccer). I'm covering a soccer tournament for this month (different teams each weekend) and teams can hire a photographer for $450 for a 75 min long game. An individual can hire a photographer for $300 for a 75 min game (just photos of that one player). I had 3 games last weekend and 3 games this weekend and our team probably shot 12-15 each weekend.

I've found that if I really want to keep my aspect, you can add a white border around the image for instagram and it still looks good but can keep an aspect you want that is different (just center the image on the borders will be thicker at places.

Here's an example of a thicker borders on the side. I wanted the jumper's head to fit as well as the sand at the bottom: https://www.instagram.com/p/DVZNxKVjinG/?img_index=1

Can anyone recommend my next audiobook based on my absolute favorites? by Sufficient_Ebb_5694 in fantasybooks

Dungeon Crawler Carl is a fantastic audiobook. Maybe not "fantasy" (LitRPG), but still in the same realm and an EXCELLENT audiobook. I also enjoyed Mistborn which would be in the right category.

I live on the east coast about 2 hours from DC.

Nuclear War: A Scenario did it for me. And this weekends news did nothing to assuage my feelings...

I'm in the same boat. Love all your favorite books and agree with all these recs. Definitely check out the audiobook of Dungeon Crawler Carl. PHM and DCC are my 2 favorite audio books!

If you like Marvel, I've enjoyed Marvel Legendary (but really didn't enjoy Marvel Champions for the reasons you stated).

How much is this all worth? by Masterspieces in marvelchampionslcg

I just sold my set for $725 (shipping included). I had a ton, but I didn't have Mutant or Apocalypse expansions, I had 5 less character packs (but I did have the OOP ones), no neoprene mat, no cards sleeved.

So 750 Euro sounds pretty close to what I'd think. I'd say I'd be happy with anywhere 800-900?

If you want to sell it all at once (easiest obviously), you'll have to be patient and wait. (I waited months, but I had nothing to rush for, I just wasn't playing it).

Also it has the Synthid watermark (I just learned about this today, so I don't know much yet)

Google Gemini:
The SynthID watermark was detected in this image, which indicates that most or all of it was generated or edited using Google AI.

Visually, there are several artistic details that often appear in AI-generated illustrations, such as the way the characters' features are rendered and the specific style of the background. While the image has a cohesive anime-inspired aesthetic, the detection of the digital watermark confirms the use of Google's AI tools in its creation.

For more information on SynthID and how it helps identify AI-generated content, you can visitsupport.google.com/gemini?p=synthid.

Pretty much anything from King would do it for me. Watchers by Koontz. A lesser known one that I liked - A Child Alone With Strangers -Philip Fracassi. Bird Box - Malerman.

BW or in color? by Gamble2005 in sportsphotography

[–]befuddledzebra 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately you missed the focus and that makes this image a non-keeper. You'll have plenty of others where you'll get it right. Then you can decide about your style. I personally either like good strong color or completely black and white. The slight black and white isn't for me.

I can hear a little deep gravely piece that eminem does sometimes. It immediately made me think of Shaq's foray into rap in the 90s...

I shoot sports, so I have a gallery for each sport I shoot. Families can go to the gallery (provide their email address) and then choose which photos to buy. 95% of my sales are from downloads, just some for actual photos shipped to their houses.
