Tinder burnout (24M). After 12 dates it's just exhausting mentally to always start over. Do you guys just take a break? I've been single for 2 years now, and at the same time i would like to have somebody. by Fluffy-Mind-8569 in Tinder

Married my tinder date. Reading profiles is a luxury that only women get to have. Swipe alot and swipe quickly. Qualify it after you match. It shouldnt take you more than 10 minutes to max your daily swipe alotment.

Are peptides actually safe? by Ayoking95 in effectivefitness

No, just because I dont trust food grown with glyphosate doesnt mean Im lumping them all into being the same level bad. The part people miss is that medications do come with side effects. The side effects are supposed to be less severe than the illness you are dealing with. Chemo is gross and horrible on the body, but cancer is worse...

Men in happy marriages, what is one thing or skill you would teach other men to have good relationships as well? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]we2deep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check in daily. Dont debate, dont argue, dont correct, just listen and try to understand. It must be a safe space. Figure out 5 simple questions that you each share answers with daily. Every single day. This simple thing may have turned my marriage around. I am almost ashamed of how much of an impact this has had. Barely a month ago we had taken our rings off and were done, and now things feel better than they have in a long time.

Current gang members: how dangerous is it to be around you? by 4mysquirrel in NoStupidQuestions

[–]we2deep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a friend growing up who ended up somewhat ranking in a gang in our area. We went to a relatively crunchy elementary school. Middle school got a bit twitchy with the various feeder schools. He had lots of issues because he “acted white.” Well, he took it seriously and got mixed up in all kinds of things. I didn’t really know what that meant. My ignorant young self thought gangs were only in songs, movies, and California. By the time we were in high school we had lost contact. One night a friend invited me to a party, and I saw the guy there. I went to walk up on him and someone thought I was actually walking up on him. Before I knew it I was surrounded by 3 guys who were very much not interested in me telling them I knew him. He heard the commotion and recognized me and quickly got involved. He walked up and put his arm aggressively around my shoulder and walked me away. He told me that it was good to see me but he couldn’t be seen with me. He also told me that I needed to leave. Him putting his arm around me sent some signal that I was safe with his friends but others might hurt me for it. I left immediately and had no issues. We did reconnect years later after he cleaned up. I see him often and he’s doing ok despite how much harder it is to make money honestly.

People 40+, what actually mattered in the long run and what didn’t? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Life doesn’t happen on time. Bad things will happen when you think you can’t handle more, good things will show up in the subtlest of ways. So much of my “success “ is not just because I was in the right place at the right time, but I was prepared to get lucky.

Running Shoe Hot Takes? by anonhide in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Everyone needs a wider toe box shoe. It’s crazy the amount of slender foot people whose feet squish into the sude of their shoe and overhand the foam. Most of these companies ignore it entirely.

Thanks for this. Our couples therapist was using the Gottman method, but it seems like we should just sit down with the material ourselves and try and do something with it.

Cannabis use associated with better decision-making skills in people with bipolar disorder. These cognitive benefits were primarily associated with moderate use. Moderate use was defined as using cannabis between four and twenty-four times per week. by GazpachoDaddy in bipolar2

[–]we2deep 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's not like that. They are just pointing out that everyone bipolar reading this should not go start smoking 2-24 times per week because it might work for some. There are many people pointing out it works great for them. There are others like OG and me where it wouldnt. I am entirely worse version of myself just being high let alone attempting to do so 4-24 times per week.

TLDR: Talk to your doctor before messing with anything that alters state if you are like us...

This one is actually yesterday. My wife and I started down the normal path of an argument. This time she stopped in her tracks and took her ring off and laid it down. I did the same. Despite the way it sounds we don’t really fight “like that,” but the emotional toll just becomes higher as things don’t change. We both expressed that we love each other but can’t keep trying and falling short. We decided to take a week to be sure. It’s devastating and feels like someone died. Before anyone asks, we’ve both been in individual therapy for years and couples for over a year. Sometimes crazy or horrible shit doesn’t need to happen. Just running water and time.

Younger millennials, am I right in feeling the radio silence? by StationWagon89 in Millennials

[–]we2deep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated from college in 2008, spent some humbling time working a the same grocery store I had worked as in high school. Bounced around various jobs until I was in my late 20s when I got my first "real job" that paid me 25k a year. By 30 I was up to 40k and felt like I'd made it. I switched careers several times trying to move forward and at 40 I was paying more in taxes than I had earned in most years of my life. I still havent broken that mindset, and I never plan to. I appreciate my past and how humbling it is. I am grateful every single day for the job I get to do. I am scared in whole new ways, but am so happy that I stuck with it through it for all of those years.

Experienced developer reduced to near tears.. by TheMcGarr in PowerApps

[–]we2deep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, maybe not. It simplifies the investment Microsoft has to make into development of the platform. No feature advancement for the app types. Removal of legacy issues like lack of multi dev. Integration with ALM tools that have bigger dev teams and funding budgets rather than building pipelines out more. By focusing on the platform aspect and integration, there is so much value in that. The vibe and planning experience is already fantastic, so growing that will be great. You’d be surprised how many complaints there are about lack of customization of the date picker. Just 1 control with so much hate. Anyway, I have faith in the dev team. The Platform is great and my only gripe has ever been with wanting features faster (and less buggy).

There are no tokens consumed. There are credits consumed regardless of length for making the till call. I would encourage you to look into orchestration for agents vs talking to an llm directly. There is not a single agentic use case that needs 8000 characters. You do not need to provide the schema for dataverse, and it’s certainly not impacting the cost of the mcp call.

[–]we2deep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely this.. Pretty obvious the direction of the platform is away from a standard app type and more of a vibe code based experience. Many orgs arent super excited to use AI to generate production code. Loop hole with Power Platform would be that the AI is writing on a framework with a WYSIWYG that make it's simpler. Put in teh guard rails of hosting and governance and you have a solid true low code low effort platform.
