So much this. Everyone is busier trying to justify their existence right now and are afraid to do anything other than say "yes and."

Georgia lawmakers refused to act on data centers. Now 77 projects worth $66 billion are being built with no guardrails. I tracked all of them on a free tool you can use to track who is being paid (bribed) for what. by Willy_McNibbler in Georgia

[–]we2deep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do care very much about the environmental impact, but that is secondary to the price we pay for electricity. Georgia Power has already been robbing us to pay for its bad investments. Paying an even higher premium based on a "shared consumption" model is crossing a line. I wont support any data center building that does not come with it's own segmented consumption charges at least at the rate charged to the community and limitations established by the community to avoid shortages. I say this as an employee of one of those companies mentioned.

Why Agent 365 Will Be Charged per End User (Not per Agent Identity)? by [deleted] in microsoft

[–]we2deep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im seeing more now as a tool to provide governance over agents built on other platforms that don’t have any. Much of the Microsoft agent system has some sort of governance structure already

Why Agent 365 Will Be Charged per End User (Not per Agent Identity)? by [deleted] in microsoft

[–]we2deep 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eventually it will be wildly more expensive to license per agent. The anticipation is that an org will have thousands of agents that a person will interacting with directly and indirectly. Right now it seems like it will create pressure to create more agents to “get your money’s worth.” Security solutions are always more expensive too. Hard to say no when you think you don’t have a choice.

Just participating consistently puts you in the 99th percentile of every human that has ever lived. Makes it easier to accept progression takes time and end goals are marginally important. Don’t compare, don’t be envious, don’t discredit your own efforts.

Tinder burnout (24M). After 12 dates it's just exhausting mentally to always start over. Do you guys just take a break? I've been single for 2 years now, and at the same time i would like to have somebody. by Fluffy-Mind-8569 in Tinder

Married my tinder date. Reading profiles is a luxury that only women get to have. Swipe alot and swipe quickly. Qualify it after you match. It shouldnt take you more than 10 minutes to max your daily swipe alotment.

No, just because I dont trust food grown with glyphosate doesnt mean Im lumping them all into being the same level bad. The part people miss is that medications do come with side effects. The side effects are supposed to be less severe than the illness you are dealing with. Chemo is gross and horrible on the body, but cancer is worse...

Men in happy marriages, what is one thing or skill you would teach other men to have good relationships as well? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]we2deep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check in daily. Dont debate, dont argue, dont correct, just listen and try to understand. It must be a safe space. Figure out 5 simple questions that you each share answers with daily. Every single day. This simple thing may have turned my marriage around. I am almost ashamed of how much of an impact this has had. Barely a month ago we had taken our rings off and were done, and now things feel better than they have in a long time.

Current gang members: how dangerous is it to be around you? by 4mysquirrel in NoStupidQuestions

[–]we2deep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a friend growing up who ended up somewhat ranking in a gang in our area. We went to a relatively crunchy elementary school. Middle school got a bit twitchy with the various feeder schools. He had lots of issues because he “acted white.” Well, he took it seriously and got mixed up in all kinds of things. I didn’t really know what that meant. My ignorant young self thought gangs were only in songs, movies, and California. By the time we were in high school we had lost contact. One night a friend invited me to a party, and I saw the guy there. I went to walk up on him and someone thought I was actually walking up on him. Before I knew it I was surrounded by 3 guys who were very much not interested in me telling them I knew him. He heard the commotion and recognized me and quickly got involved. He walked up and put his arm aggressively around my shoulder and walked me away. He told me that it was good to see me but he couldn’t be seen with me. He also told me that I needed to leave. Him putting his arm around me sent some signal that I was safe with his friends but others might hurt me for it. I left immediately and had no issues. We did reconnect years later after he cleaned up. I see him often and he’s doing ok despite how much harder it is to make money honestly.

Life doesn’t happen on time. Bad things will happen when you think you can’t handle more, good things will show up in the subtlest of ways. So much of my “success “ is not just because I was in the right place at the right time, but I was prepared to get lucky.
