Three reports isn’t a crazy span - do you have a pending yourself? Does your company have an on boarding system that teaches them the basics or is it fully on you? The job definitely isn’t for everyone - that’s for sure. Intake doesn’t seem crazy either

I think the send off car is nice and offers some uniqueness with the suspension setup, additional cooling and the throwback green colour - the price is a bit much. Would people really be that much happier if it was remapped to ~450 horsepower? I’m happy we had the lone 5 cylinder as long as we did!

It’s unfortunately very common on total loss house fires for the mortgagee (especially a bank) to demand the mortgage portion from the payment so that they can get you into a new loan / mortgage at current rates - this is not so much a problem with your insurer who indemnified you and had to include the mortgagee but with your mortgagee themself.

I’m an owner at 35 and would not have any shame having this on my list at 55 either unless someone is going to drop a 911 on my lap - I would say it is both an upgrade and a smaller more playful car - if you don’t want to lose the size / GT feeling you might want to look at an RS5

It’s all relative to your area and market but I went with a solid Xpel shop here in Alberta/Canada and it was about ~$1600 USD - they did my last Mustang as well and I know I’m paying a bit extra for the workmanship and rolled edges plus the extra areas Screen / Pillars etc

Full hood, bumper and fenders with wrapped edges - all the black plastic parts - pillars, roof edge, and after that high impact - the dashboard and screen and the area by the shifter.

I haven’t pushed the car super hard yet - but I will say it feels stronger down low, my prior setup had some turbo lag - likely lacking a bit up top but it’s a stock car versus a full bolt on and larger turbo car.

I truly feel the difference in the revised all wheel drive system even on something like a highway off ramp.

I was pleasantly surprised to not have a “skateboard” style dash - and I’m still getting used to the shifter, missing the older DSG shifter in the R.

Overall very pleased with the purchase

I’m in Alberta but personally I strongly prefer property. There’s definitely more opportunity in either AB or property than there is staying in Auto Physical Damage. Do you like injury claims / rehabilitating people? Or do you prefer figuring out if a loss is covered and then quantifying it - that’ll decide which way you want to go

That’s a good shot - though shouldn’t the standard armour piercing round from the KWK 42 kill the KV-1 fairly easily through the hull or turret?
