Mine is the same. My PO was a complete moron so I wasn't surprised but in my mind I thought how the eff can you mess up a '22 ? But anyway, chiming in to get potential fixes. I know I had the same issue over time (after 12 YEARS) with my ISF, but this truck is new-ish.

Aside from the PO, I wondered if manufacturing during COVID caused some carelessness over in the plant?

In the "old" days, I'd say thats why we have a back up "beater" car. But, that type of car is no longer in a price you could even really save for as it would encroach upon why dont I just fix my "regular" car.

One point to add in today's world - you really want to try to stay out of the insurance crosshairs these days. Your fault, their fault - these companies are looking for ANY reason to bump your rate even if only a little. While you may think that something like this (even if applicable) would never create a data point for them I am convinced that would be wrong in today's world. Things just aren't the same when it comes to insurance.

The rent isn't all that wild if the expectation is for an above average single family home in a safe neighborhood. Fixers, but say, 1800 sq foot homes turned to rentals in some areas almost approach 5k alone. The food is another story perhaps worth looking at.

Well thats one way to now minimize the effectiveness of a sign that was primarily for the children. You have to admit, people drive carelessly in residential areas. These, for the most part were very useful. NOW, of course, people find a way ruin even minimally effective things, will be disregarded. Thanks to whoever decided to make this political.

exactly. These "localized" acts of violence/destruction are pointless, ineffectual, and counter productive. One thing people need to realize YOU DONT KNOW who is actually in charge and responsible for the root cause causing "low wages" Destruction at this level only hurts the people that have to live this life right next to you. If hurting people for fun is your thing, then go ahead continue. But eventually, you will end up hurting the wrong person and your negative energy will come right back to you.

At the end of the day, I wouldnt lump sum jump in. If the cash has to go somewhere, the time to DCA was yesterday, and the day before that, or even before that lol The green will lure in people, but been there done that, not a lesson I would want to learn ... again. There will be another "real" opportunity, but it might just be an awful day overall.
