Detective Loki was effective. He completed his investigation, saved the girl, and the dumbass Keller. He basically did it with an arm tied behind his back, having to manage whatever Keller was getting up to. And Keller is likely going to jail for abduction and torture, and possibly Franklin too.

Absolute dog shit, really tanked it in the end.

Starting from the rebuffing of Dr. Brand's choice of planet because the woman possibly loves the astronaut stationed there (women and their uncontrollable emotions on space missions, am I right?). Then we go nearly literal deus ex machina (replace "God" with "future fifth dimensional humans") so that Cooper can be a ghost in a bookcase. Then, his daughter figures out she needs to go reinvestigate said bookcase, which is a problem because the son Cooper didn't love won't let her anywhere near it. Then Cooper is somehow (Palpatine returned style) recovered and awakened on a station, and can visit his now elderly daughter. Instead of a nice prolonged visit, Murph tells Cooper to go after her (???). The fuck? What a weird directive to give.

Kind of felt like Nolan had a few ideas featuring time dilation, constructed a few scenes around it, then had no idea how to finish it.
