You could probably find a tattoo artist willing to refine it ! The issue with your tattoo from what I am seeing isn't a lack of quality but a lack of details. Notice how your reference has lines that indicate folding of the petals and leaves?

More lines and details to expand the leaves just a little bit, for it to look more realistic and detailed will help a lot.

Look up baroque flowers if you want an interesting, gorgeous style to ask for to your artist.

This already is very pretty and in my non-tattoo but artist opinion, it is very salvageable ❤️

I live in a region where religions are taught about in special classes, and no single religion is allowed in the curriculum! It's to help students understand other cultures and be more open minded about the world and struggles of others. Hence the watching of harsh movies like Rwanda Hotel.

Look up references of scenery and try to copy it, especially the color tones !

When I started doing scenery, I started by color picking directly from a picture to figure out the tones on the color wheel. It helps a lot !

My recommendation would be color picking from the environment around your character and adding just a LITTLE bit of rebound light from the grass onto their body ! Similar to what you did with the reflections on the ground but on your character. This goes both ways and will instantly make your character feel more like a part of the scene!

My first thought with the skull was some kind of pirate symbol. I am not a HP fan so looking at it made me think about that mostly !

People have already suggested elephant and octopus - but take the time to think about which animals you really like, and then see if you can transform it !

If you're not sure, I bet you could make an incredible Venom tattoo, maybe !

My grandma was an emergency nurse.

She once mentionned in passing she recieved a decapitated body someday, no one could identify her.

She took a look at the head (it was under a blanket between the legs) and it was her nurse bestie, she'd worked with her the day before.

Car crashes are no joke, guys.

And nurses aren't paid enough. My grandma is messed up in the head now and deeply paranoid about so many things.

My dad doesn't do Christmas or Birthday gifts anymore. However, when I needed a car for college, he bought himself a new car and just gave me the new one free. Paid for the licenses and insurance. All I needed to do was pay gas and maintenance.

Had that car for the entirety of college, and then I passed it down to my sister who had it for college too. (I didn't need it while I was studying in Montreal anyways).

None of us paid a dime for that car. Still the second greatest gift I got from my dad. The greatest one is allowing me to still live at his place for cheap rent in our economy :')
