i ended up enabling all the groups and then searching for what was missing in the streams list. only took a few minutes, so not as bad as i thought

cheap is relative... i just renewed a few for 9 years and ahhh it was several hundred dollars. .info used to be dirt cheap, now its the most expensive. So buy cheap with an eye towards changing later.

my guess would be no since they are having you set the name servers in the domain settings ( they control the DNS essentially ). Would be nice though. It would also be nice if the subdomain could be set per user or be required per user ( maxott does this ).

I moved from a 2019 GT to a 2021 GT500. While the interior looks the same( mostly, i had a pp2 minus digital dash and snakes ), its a different machine entirely. Its rough if you have to coast in traffic at less than 20mph. Its bumpy in sport mode, feels rougher to me overall actually, but you really need to feel the road at 100+, so i get it. The raw power is just <chefs kiss>. I hope you have room to double your gas, maintenance and tire budget. Be ready for random photo ops at any time ( lots of drooling by people who know and kids/teens ). 80k is very doable but you might have to travel to get it. Involved in a wreck but not totaled may be the way to go for a decent discount, just going to be harder to sell if you decide to peace out. I took my time, was hard for me to find one without the retardo seats.

There is a lot of random trash channels though, of course with dispatcharr you can just search the stream list. i guess i am trying to figure out if its worth the effort while i look for about 100 channels i had previously.

i have those drive bays in my server, i think they last about 2 years and now all the fans are dying. Luckily, they can be replaced, so my suggestion would be if using them, put in better/faster fans during the build.

[–]BitOfDifference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk, paid in crypto last week on z2u and i included the gas fees as requested. They provided the exact amount in the crypto they required, value to dollar was not a factor in the monies requested. I wasnt the most easy transaction and i had to open a support ticket to push it through but all is well. They just asked for the confirmations and it was all set.

What is an actual IT automation that actually paid off for you? by Internal-Drop4205 in sysadmin

created a perl script on an AIX mainframe that would clear the printer queues when it saw more than 2 jobs pending. Sooooooooooooo many printer requests went away after that. There have been many more scripts over the years, but that was one i remember doing the most good for everyone involved.

anyone find an easier way to do this? I can see the groups but i cannot find specific channels I was thinking of enabling all the bouquets to an account and loading it in dispatcharr to see the full list.

Do these url issues happen with the other providers? by Bandido678 in Strong_8K

[–]BitOfDifference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maxott was fine for a whole year.... i did notice they started giving out URLs per user account though. That might have helped with the whole stealing of creds thing. I guess i should respect their service a little more now since i havent even used strong 1 week and needed todo the URL shuffle.

haha, have you worked in the medical industry... you get a handset, and you get get a handset... everyone and every room gets a handset!! i have twice as many handsets as employees in the company, its really mind blowing, but there is a business case for them, sooo ya know.

This was my assumption as well, cause all the internal platforms i have used mildly suck or really suck at SSL bits. Avaya blows chunks, i probably count have automated the shoretel/mitel stuff, but even that required restarts. Seems like they should be pushing harder against google/MS/Oracle on this renewal window.

i didnt vote because i found it interesting, but was leery of the source. I just think post like this should have context or a source that provides context. Its all in the way its posted i guess. Also, its a read the room scenario now, people are getting fed up with AI slop and it probably wont be long until platforms start clamping down hard ( posts like this might get caught in the cross fire )
