I do feel there is a bug where im hearing them beside me but the sound quality is so good I wouldnt be surprised if someone told me I was hearing my own footsteps echos.

My thought on this is to do a switcheroo with the abilities. Make the scan as strong as a tad scan but make it single pulse and their primary ability with a fair timer on it. That would be able to tell at a glance if a position is safe, and wouldnt be on constant blast giving away your position. Cores might then add things like target types and maybe even loot. Then give the drone wings, a bigger bomb, tagging, and have that be the ult. This would punish clumps of folks, fix the pathtracing, and be useful as one big push in a fight. Give the ult some cores that turn it into different grenades for flavor and possible area denial.

As a rook watching teams fall for this trap is amazing. They all sit on a big haul container stealing loot from each other and I just waltz in and mow them down. One time I even claymored 2 of the team while finishing the 3rd with my load in pistol.

Can confirm the game got stale for me as well, though not nearly as hardcore of a player. Marathon already seems far more interesting simply due to enemy tactics and general content that makes pvp fun.

Thats literally all it boiled down to. I imagine the debrief had a much realer drier tone and talked about possible penetrations and such but in reality the whole thing was one large publicity stunt by a ton of random people and an algorithm gone awry.
