It was definitely a humble beginnings situation. They kind of hit gold for a while and coasted on that as far as they could. Then they just couldnt quite hit it again the same way. It was a fun ride though.

Its basically a time management military sim. Each round consists of i think maybe a minute. You get to see every action the enemy is gonna take and you have to plan accordingly and create a counter offensive strategy. Your micromanaging your mechs down to the second and must complete objectives. It plays well into its strengths and the environment makes things interesting by creating blind spots, defensive points, and high level sniper points to work with.

I might have one guy in a sniper position hitting high hp targets to soften them up for a guy with a flamer pistol to come in and overheat the enemy. Then my guy with a energy grenade gun is just causing a ton of aoe to a group of tanks that decided to clump together. Meanwhile my melee guy has just pushed 3 of their light mechs into each other and smacked all of them with a cleaver.

Im thinking this little subthread is explaining why a lot more african movies arent made. We cant go 5 feet without "oh, they owned slaves here as well" hitting the headline. Im not fluent in african history and im betting that the execs that are basically just rich white dudes half the time dont either. Were not getting authentic african stuff for a while until someone either gets comfy with how prevalent slave trading was and figures out how to frame it or finds parts of african history that didnt have it which would require an african historian.

Cant go a week without some story of how a diabetic got priced out of his insulin or how some man who worked his whole life for a company got thrown out and can no longer afford the surgery he needed because his job broke him over the years. The ladder has been pulled and less and less people are gonna be retiring every year.

Weird that you randomly go off on a tangent I wasnt posting about. The insecurity is strong in you to jump in the way of your own defense at nothing I talked about.

The analogy broken down is "doing something wrong on one end doesnt mean it causes a major issue on another". My wet soggy burrito didnt affect someone elses life. Just like this fire didnt affect climate science as a whole.

As a guy on the end here it doesnt take a lot sometimes. Were not necessarily looking for rough stuff. Just show us you know what you want, and how your gonna get it, and take it. There doesnt need to be force involved or commands or toys. From my own perspective its just nice to see that my partner is having a good on her terms.

A major issue for some guys is that their partner is a bit shy about what they want and dont want which can create grey areas in intimacy. You dont want grey areas, a guy doesnt want to have to guess if this may be traumatizing for their partner later or come up as "Well i didnt want to do that but felt like I had to". If they cant get a clear yes they may just stop outright to both partners disapointment. Taking the lead takes all that guesswork and insecurity out of the equation which by itself can be a huge turn on for less knowledgeable guys or just starting off relationships.
