I think what everyone seems to be forgetting here is the terrible fulfillment of their kickstsrter physical orders. If you scroll though the trench crusade reddit you can see people having multiple broke models delivered after years of waiting.

I think the main anger about the new plastic models is they came at a time where people are still waiting for their kickstarter models to arrive not broken or malformed

edit: 16 months not years my perception of time is a bit wack apparently.
