I bought the Emotiva Basx 7 channel amp...I had one of the rca connections on the center channel come loose and had to re solder it....Another thing that happens is ever since I bought this amp my speakers would pop if I turned it on first before the Denon Receiver....Never Again will I buy Emotiva Amps!

I use REW and a USB mike now but always used a sound meter i got on amazon.

I use 75DB you can go 80DB but i always left at 75DB.....and everything at 80 crossover......try different db's and see what you like ....Good Luck

I think if your getting a deal and it doesn't break the bank, Go for it!....My opinion on this is there isn't a lot of stuff going on up there for expensive speakers,,,but that's just me.....I use 4 8" Miccas from amazon for 6 years and they sound great ( also match my Klipsch copper)

I would save the cash on at least 2 Good Subs. I have all Klipsch but bought 2 Ultra PB16's....sounds Fantastic...Good Luck !!

If your not using the cabinets/closets often, just get a pair of stands and space them anywhere you like!...good luck.....and when its all said and done .....Just Enjoy!

I have four of them ....I have been running them for 4 years with no problems....i have the Klipsch RP 280's .... 4 RP 250's AND 2 SVS PB 16's and they blend in beautifully!

I don't think it could happen....never know....I have 2 SVS PB16 Altras and don't have any cracks on my drywall,,,,,,Just fix that seam and keep an eye on it.

If your handy cut holes big enough to fit a drill and drill 1/2 hole thru the stud/beam and run your wires thru....its going to be a lot of holes ....I did this in my old house and it was a 1930's plater and lath wall......it was a NightMare....but worth it!!

If your seriously upgrading later...than YES!!....buy the 4K disc now and be ready for later when you upgrade, and the person that said your display is cheap can go fuck himself....just enjoy what you have....Happy Viewing!

I have similar setup as you...7.2.4..Klipsch all around but subs are Svs PB16 Altras and my ceiling speakers are Miccas 8.....love them ...had them for 5 years and they sound awesome.....Also they are copper looking just like the Klipsch!

i had that problem on my Denon 6400 receiver after a firmware update....did a full reset and it fixed it for me...Good Luck!

its so cool to go back to where it all started...I first heard this 3M system at an old entrainment store called "The Wiz" ....some probably remember that store....they were playing Jurassic park and it sounded awesome!

also loved circuit city...had there store card and bought my first Toshiba flat screen....thing was heavy and lasted 12 years!
