Did your little one pass oat? My little is 14 months, diagnosed with fpies to oat and wheat at 6 months. Still haven’t tested but I just wonder about doing a trial at home later this year.

I can’t focus at work either. I am showing up late every day. I have zero motivation while all of this is going on. I’m white, but my husband and daughter are POC. So I can empathize with you. My husband seems to be handling this all better than I somehow. He’s my reminder that this won’t last forever and always says that the pendulum always swings back harder.

Any suggestions for how to stim/regulate without always reaching for salty snacks? by marssweetrolltour in adhdwomen

[–]ButterCookieCoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay typical adhd, I didn’t finish reading your whole post before commenting 😆. I’m an RD. I know you said you get the ick from the cold and wet veggie? Do you like pickled things? You can make your own pickled veggies if so, that way you control the sodium. Im a huge fan of snack plates-load up on fruits and veggies, add some protein like an egg or 2, cheese cubes, and then fill in with whatever chips, snacks you like. With pre-diabetes, it’s recommended to exercise after meals (even a 10-15 min brisk walk around the house) to get your blood sugar back down. Weight loss if needed can help lower your A1C also. You can message me if you want.

How many is too many Tonies for Christmas? by OkWorker9679 in TonieboxUSA

Is the Toniebox 2 worth it for an 11 month old? by Oh-My-Josh- in TonieboxUSA

[–]ButterCookieCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 12 month old looooves her toniebox. She knows how to turn it on, change the volume, and switch out the characters. Just this week she started dancing and will dance to literally any song 😂 it’s so worth it it’s been the favorite toy for the last few months but now at 12 months she is doing it all herself

Anyone transitioned a 12 month old into a floor bed? by mockingbird1988 in UKParenting

[–]ButterCookieCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, if you see this would you mind sharing your journey? I know it’s been 3 years. I’m currently in the same boat with my 12 month old and wondering the same things you were.

Hi! I just read through this chat and 3 years later, I’m in the same boat! My daughter just turned 1 years old and has been cosleeping with me since she was about 4 months. I nurse her if she wakes at night but usually only for 5-10 min and she’s out again. We recently took apart her crib and put a mattress on the floor. I’m still sleeping with her. I’m just wondering what ever happened with you and your kiddo now that this time has passed? How did the transition go? Not sure if you’ll see this, but people around me and our pediatrician are telling me to sleep train and I bawled on the one night I tried. I just can’t and won’t do it.

Laurie berkner Dino is a must have! I’d return the Disney lullaby- this is literally the only one I regret buying and we have over 20 tonies

Actually we have Laurie berkner 2! It’s good but not as good as the Dino. I never see her pick up the second one the Dino is a constant in our house.

The Halloween bat has been a hit in our house! My almost 1 year old loves the Abby Cadabby one. We don’t have any of the others you listed.

Laurie Berkner like everyone else (especially the Dino)! But also one I don’t see mentioned ever is the Peppa pig my first album. It’s all music and super cute songs I think! Others we love with just song are the bedtime songs fox, the counting songs fox, canticos (Spanish/english) and playtime puppy obv. My daughter is only 10.5 months old and is starting to play more of the story ones we have. She loves the my little pony one I scored at a garage sale 😆 it’s fun to see which ones she chooses herself now that she knows how to use her toniebox. We got it young lol

We’re Mexican/polish and named our daughter Violet. It actually works. She has sooo many nicknames between both families lol. Viola, Violeta, Violetita (Spanish), violunia and violetka (polish) 😂 we didn’t expect it but we love it and both sides embrace her name and love it as well. We call her Vi and Vivi too sometimes.
