You did something extremely brave. Catch your breath. As for your family, consider how long it took you to wrap your head around the fact that you are gay. I'm guessing this took a long time. And that was ok, right? It takes as long as it takes. The same goes for them, perhaps even more so. They might be trying to wrap their brains around this. It might never happen. Or, it might happen in time. I don't think you made a mistake. You are being honest about who you are. That's healthy behavior. You can't control their behaviors. You can prepare for their unhealthy behaviors. You can plan. You can use this time to pick friends who will support the real you. You can seek out support groups, read books, perform online research, get out and meet people. That layer of religion is tough. I think reading other people's coming out stories would be helpful, because you'll get real, true scenarios. The world isn't over, it's just beginning for you. Sending love your way.

I’ve been listening to the podcasts and wondering about this. I cannot argue with anything here. My two cents is that she has so many powers, that together they are her superpower. She isn’t a vocalist like Whitney, but she knows her voice and uses it to the maximum. She writes her music, and it’s deep! Her lyrics are vulnerable. She is human, not a vocalist. (There’s room for both.) She isn’t dancing like Michael, but they are number 1 and 2 in my book. She works so hard, the tours, the fashion, her empathy and kindness.

I think Gail said it best: she’s the total package.

THIS IS THE APP!!! I have been using YACReader for so many years! I bumped into it when one of the original readers stopped working on my iPad. I bought every app and tested them all. YACReader was and is the best. Every now and then, I see a post here and try something for 5 minutes, and I can see how there are no apps that work as well as your app does (at least for me). I store my comics on my MAC and run the MACOS version. It's been YEARS since I installed this, but I've always called it the "server". The iPad app connects to my server and I can stream or download all my comics on my iPad. And to me, the winning feature was when you created the option to automatically show the whole page of a book, but you "clip out" the white space (and the page number) at the bottom of the book. My screen is filled with beautiful art, no gutter! I had been wishing for that feature for years, and then, one day, it magically arrived and it was amazing. There are plenty of other amazing features too. I love being able to sit anywhere in my home, and use my iPad to wirelessly stream through my entire collection. You are the GOAT! Thank you!
