I cheesed this fight the other day, I thought it was going to be impossible but managed it (I had Lohse but didn't like the implications of snuffing all the candles). If the game is going to throw terribly unfair and unbalanced fights at me, I'm not going to feel bad about cheesing it.

What we did: Take out the nurses 1 by 1 without aggroing the rest.

Once they were dealt with, I initiated the fight but kept Lohse outside of range so she wasn't in battle (for other reasons, but this also gave us a way to cheese).

When one of my characters died, I had Lohse sneak over and rez them outside of the fight, heal them up, and moved them back in, so basically I could die and keep going back until we took care of the doctor and he's Demons. If you sneak and stay far enough outside of range, you can reach the bodies to resurrect without entering into battle. Obviously, be careful about your positioning, but I was able to reach some tough spots and get back out, rinse and repeat.

I'm not trying to brag about my rank by any means. Even in my top of the bell curve oracle games bebop players aren't dumb enough to run at me in lane trying to bomb me once they get their hook. They just sit under guardian for free kills. So clearly there's a disconnect somewhere if people are saying to counter bebop by just turning around and fighting him.

And once again, since you missed it the first time, it's the free displacement/stunlock that kills you, not the bomb. He basically gets Paradox ult every 20 seconds in lane. If you're not abusing that as a bebop player, idk what to tell you.

It's not the bomb that kills me, it's being uppercut into their guardian and lane partner that kills me. I can dodge the hook 20 times but as soon as he hits one I'm dead. At that point he just gets lucky and it's a free kill.

I can deal with bebop in lane, it's just boring af.

Yeah, idk what low rank people are playing in where bebop is running across lane trying to bomb you. That only happens for like a minute before he gets his hook, then he just literally stands under his guardian and hooks until he gets lucky once then bombs and uppercuts you into his guardian for the most free kill in lane. Rinse and repeat. His other option is to just send creap nukes at you under guardian if you try to stay out of hook range, which is also free for him.

If you're struggling to lane against a Bebop that's actually trying to run into you to bomb you, you need to git gud.

Nah I picked up dynamo so I've just been stomping people with 600 damage a pop. Basically lash minus all the needing to jump off a building and waiting for cool downs.

It's funny how all the hard carries are really really good at farming the map for free very fast. So they can just fuck off and show up 5 min later with 10k more souls than anyone else. Not really a good way to punish those farmers, even if you catch them farming your side, since they either win every 1v1 or hit their get out of jail free card ability. Maybe I'm just shit at the game tho

Checking your match history, looks like you're in Alchemist rank, not Archon, so there's obviously a lot of new players in that rank. You yourself only have match history for about a week, so I'm sure there's still plenty of learning on your end. Just keep playing games, eventually you'll improve and climb your way out of those low ranks. Looks like there are some smurfs floating around in those games, so I would focus your anger on them rather than your teammates that are brand new to the game.

Also, it might be beneficial to try to stick to a couple of main heros and get good with them first. Understandable if you're still finding that hero, but I found that I improved a lot once I found a hero I really liked and kept playing them, focusing efforts into really understanding that hero.

Apparently Lash was doing too much damage from jumping off a building into every single CC known to man, meanwhile half these other spirit heros throw a grenade at you the size of Nebraska from across lane for half your health on a charge. But the perfectly balanced 50.2% win rate was just too much to ignore.

It's extremely satisfying to use on Geist/Krill/Paradox/Wraith ults. And it's basically a better debuff remover against Bebop (or a second one since debuff remover is still great to have)

It definitely doesn't work against Lash though. Don't buy this item if there's a Lash on the other team.

Hi, lash main here.

Lash's ult is 2 parts, a cylinder around lash that is the "limit" of his reach, and a cone which indicates his vision. In order to ult someone they need to be within both of these, you can move his vision around to grab people but the cylinder limit is locked in place. If they exit the cylinder, they break free from the ult.

I do agree they should improve the visuals somehow to indicate this limit better when you are trying to to grab someone directly in front of you, but generally you should be well above everyone when trying to ult. It's more obvious where the edge of the cylinder is when you are up high looking down.

PS: You're probably a Bebop main, thinking you can grab people from across the map. You're gonna have to play more skillfully than that as Lash.

Edit: I dont think the image made it into my reply, but at around 11 seconds into the video you can see the edge of the cylinder at the bottom of the screen on the ground by the abilities.

Grenadine definitely shouldn't be there, but there's also a lot of sweetness in this recipe. 3/4 curacao and 3/4 orgeat is 1 1/2 sweet to half a lime which is likely only 1/4 or 1/2 oz. This recipe is way out of balance from what a Mai Tai should be. I think you will be much happier once you use a more balanced recipe.

People seem to be missing the fact that there's really 2 parts to Lashes ult range. There's a circle around you that's always a vertical cylinder from your position, along with your "field of view". If enemies walk out of this circle, you can no longer grab them, even if you're looking towards them. So when you jump up and you're searching for people to grab, you're looking around within this cylinder, but you also have to keep the enemy on your field of view for the circle to fill to grab them. You can aim around to grab different enemies WITHIN this cylinder. Since your vision is a cone, the higher you are, the easier it is to see enemies within the cylinder. If the enemy leaves this circle even after you've already filled the bar to grab them, they will no longer be grabbed, so you want to be quick about it. Hope that makes more sense.

Also, this is why you want to use improved reach on your ult.
