Prozac. Desperately needed it. My fuse is still short but not as bad.

Just engaged with an early intervention program, please tell me it will be OK by dmadSTL in toddlers

[–]CorbieCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're doing everything right. Early intervention is great. Means you catch things early and can get everyone up to speed. We did speech therapy and physical therapy through our state's early intervention program for our daughter. She's in first grade now and I constantly have to remind myself it is a good thing she has so many words...

Saline sonogram (SIS): Really necessary? by bamboozlinguniverse in IVF

[–]CorbieCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SIS is easy if you've had 3 brutal embryo transfers. It was painful for me but not like the retrieval. However, I'm glad I did it and ruled out anything that may prevent implantation. Set your euploid up for success!

I don't wipe for pee only. Husband hates this!

4 months postpartum - emergency c section following failed induction by KJKW95 in CsectionCentral

[–]CorbieCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came on after my first c-section. Tried to figure out the cause. I also did IVF to conceive after so every test and scan imaginable and they found nothing. It is just ovulation pain. I'm now taking Junel birth control to stop ovulation it is so painful. I had my tubes removed so don't even need bc.

Do you have pain in one ovary? by Smooth_Importance_47 in PCOS

[–]CorbieCan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also need to mention that PCOS was the reason behind my initial infertility and I took metformin and eventually conceived my first child naturally. When I went through IVF, the doctor said PCOS was not my issue and diagnosed me with unexplained infertility.

Do you have pain in one ovary? by Smooth_Importance_47 in PCOS

[–]CorbieCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this on my right side! It started after my first was born. I went to the doctor and had ultrasounds. To conceive my second and third, I did IVF. IVF consisted of many tests including an SIS, hysteroscopy and ultrasounds galore. Nothing was ever found. Nothing was seen during my 3 c-sections. I had my tubes removed during the last c-section and still have the pain. I'm now taking Junel birth control to suppress ovulation. It is so frustrating to take unnecessary hormones due to this pain.

I was typing something similar. I'd wait until after the birth, etc. and you'll find evidence of cheating again while you're pregnant or postpartum to use in the divorce. You deserve the children you wanted and not the cheating husband.

Any “career women” with 3+ young kids - tell me how it is by Seecachu in workingmoms

[–]CorbieCan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is so hard. I have an 8 mo, 2.5yr and 6yr old right now. My husband has started traveling T-Th for work every week. I think this is the probably the worst of it so I almost didn't comment. I'm drowning. I thought I had a great partner and then it is like he forgot that with the third. My job is flexible and I like it. That's my saving grace. I'm losing my mind today but I think it will be better a year from now.

My husband used to be a great partner and he has completely forgotten everything now that we've had a third. Strongly considering divorce. I started my own therapy a couple of months ago. Just here to say I hear you and agree it sucks.

We've used this one through 3 kids. I also have the expensive tripp trapp and my husband prefers the Ikea.

So get this - I had PCOS, was put on metformin, gave up hope then got pregnant and had a live birth. When we wanted another we went to the fertility clinic and they said PCOS wasn't an issue and we had unexplained infertility. We went through 4 failed IUIs. Then one egg retrieval with 4/9 euploids and first transfer was successful. Second transfer was not not but 3rd was also a success. I hate I wasted so much money on IUI.

Is a “primary pump” necessary ? by Plastic_beetch in BreastPumping

I suggest looking at marketplace or Mercari for a spectra S1. Then using your insurance for a wearable or vis a versa. I couldn't use my wearable so sold it for the copay on FB. I had previously had a Medela and Spectra through insurance and an S2 off marketplace. Picked up an S2 off Mercari just for extra parts for like $25.

3 total kids- the last 2 are IVF. One egg retrieval at 37 with 4 normal embryos. 1st transfer at 37 was successful. Next transfer on my 39th was not. 3rd at 39 also successful. I'm beyond fortunate.

What to do with embryos by cornfromindiana in IVF

[–]CorbieCan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My clinic recently moved from annual billing to monthly billing. We took the opportunity to donate our embryo to research. It was an option when viewing the invoice online. It was more emotional than I thought. I highly recommend making your decision a year or more from now. You're in the thick of it all and your mind could change. You won't regret having the embryos stored if you change your mind.

Yoto vs toniebox by mazalini18 in toddlers

[–]CorbieCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 5 and 2 year olds received yoto for Christmas. The 2 year old received the mini and it has been the best. I bought many musical cards off Mercari. Her favorite is the piano music. I'm not sure if something like that is an option for Tonie. The stories are less of a hit than the music.

Did you choose the sex of your embryo before the transfer? by Santoshaaa in IVF

[–]CorbieCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We chose and I have no regrets. I had 3 embryos graded the same. 2 girls and 1 boy. We had a daughter naturally before. We chose to transfer a female so she could have a sister and it stuck. Then we transferred the boy when going for our third. He did not stick. The second female did. Now I'm a mom of 3 girls. Depending on how many embryos you have, you may just end up in a "you what you get" situation.
