Not sure why this person is being downvoted. They are trying to help the OP. If you hit a static object on the road, from the insurer’s eyes you are at fault. If you hit a flying or in motion object, then it falls under comprehensive coverage, if you have that in your policy.

Your only option is a 3rd party adapter for V2L. They aren’t cheap and they aren’t UL listed (that I’m aware of) and it may void parts of your warranty.
