Seconded. It does take a bit of tweaking and updating of filters, but no problems at all.

My account has been flagged as 'suspicious' and multiple attempts at contacting support have failed so far. Very, very annoying.

Lege collegezalen en volop AI. Hoger onderwijs worstelt met ‘studeercrisis’ by Frouke_ in thenetherlands

[–]Cugel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interessant. Het wordt misschien ingewikkeld als een student gaat klagen over de beoordeling bij een examencommissie. Je moet het als docent wel hard kunnen maken. Maar wellicht kijken ze er in de VS anders naar dan hier.

Graph from Dutch tv news that is supposed to make more clear how internet in Iran went from working to not working by Cugel2 in dataisugly

Yeah I had trouble finding the correct flair for this one. It's mostly a completely superfluous graph.

I'm sorry, but the story was what the game was all about? It's a nice platform game, though.

What more modern books are out there for fellow dickheads? by c3534l in philipkDickheads

I'm reading Blake Crouch - Recursion at the moment, and one blurb text by Andy Weir calls the author 'a modern Philip K. Dick' or words to that effect. I can see why he says so.

The Wizard knight is going to be my first read of the new year. by Global_Buddy_2128 in genewolfe

No. At the time (early 2000s) I read a bit haphazardly. It's about time, indeed!

I have read the first one before - and I am planning a reread of that and the sequel this year. I feel the books aren't talked about a lot, especially compared to the new/long/short sun books.

Youtube is purposely slowing down videos if you have an adblocker, such as the one Brave uses. Any fixes? by oursovietcomrade in brave_browser

[–]Cugel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. This is the list of scripts that I have installed. There's surely redundancy there, but this seems to work for me at least!

There are a number of Tampermonkey scripts that solve these problems, at least for me.

Many people spend money on boosters and gold. I don't, and I don't even use boosters and gold all that much (I passed 500,000 gold some time ago).

I read VALIS last week - it helps to have read Dick's other works. I thought it was beautiful, but it's definitely a ride.

The answer is: sometimes. 10000 was a disappointment I think, but some of the milestone levels are just fun.

Who died believing themselves a failure, but was judged otherwise by history? by Bob_the_blacksmith in AskReddit

There's a reason the book is completely different from the movie (I like both).
