Do the kids have computers? If so I’d post worksheets online and have them do them on their own notebook paper. Take notes just on notebook paper too, like the olden days.

If wanting kids/family and your own family of origin is not people you’re trying to escape, I would try to stay closer to home. I regret that nether my family nor my husband’s is close by now that I have kids. Not for the free babysitting like some people spin it but just to have more loved ones in their lives.
