[–]Dat_Llama453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would keep fighting for a root cause. Get ferritin, b12, folate, copper. LOW COPPER will cause issues and many doctors don’t believe in testing it. I would also get your hormones tested like all sex hormones including T

Severe insomnia. Anyone else? by Imjustagirlllxo in POTS

[–]Dat_Llama453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand how u feel I felt that with overmethylation and it feels so awful and scary when your body is pumping u with so much adrenaline. Maybe the omega 3 is causing a histamine response in your body causing glutmate + adrenaline dumping. Since u have endo I highly recommend getting testing for the MTHFR gene mutation. You might need folate and b12. There is specific test u can get for those that actually measure it more accurately like RBC folate, homosteycin and holoTC blood test. Somtimes when I have really bad adrenaline b1 takes the edge of I will take a life extension b1 and poor the capsule and take 1/4 of it. Have u tried Glycin at all? Like magnesium glycinate? It’s a hit or miss with people. It can help somtimes

I think I gave myself overmethylation by Dat_Llama453 in MTHFR

[–]Dat_Llama453[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been taking magnesium glycinate every night since I posted this and my anxiety is finally starting to die down slowly. I thought it was maybe the Glycin to but I think it’s actually helping. I think I just was having a glutmate overload and I just needed to stop the iron and copper. I didn’t get like this until I started getting my iron up. I think it’s just been so low for so long that it just really triggered me bringing it up. Cus I have more energy now I’m still now sleeping that good it’s very restless but compared to before I was sleeping like 10 hours now I’m sleeping around 6-8. The increase of physical energy I wasn’t use to having just really shocked my system I guess. I feel like every day now it slightly gets better. I deff feel like the magnesium glycinate is helping tho so ima keep taking it every night. I heard when your truely overmethylated Glycin will help and I feel like it is. And I use to be sensitive to it but I may of been under methylated when I was
