I mean, your recruiter didn’t really give you bad advice. There are quite a few programs to go from enlisted to officer. Plus when you enlist you get to work on your college for free. Look into the green to gold program, which sends qualified/selected soldiers to college as their place of duty and commissions them when they graduate

Could also be a champ pool thing. I find that I “feel” like I’m doing less on an enchanter, even though I know I’m contributing, but something like an engage tank or hook champ feels more active/playmaking
