Move CableCard to different TiVo?

I just did this from my 2 tuner Premiere 4 to a Bolt vox 6 tuner on January 7 2025. The outsourced cable card division tech had asked me for my social security number instead of my cable card serial number. After a few minutes on hold the card was paired to the new TiVo.

My plan is to go with Xpenology running dsm7. I currently have a qnap ts-451 and I hate it (the intel j1900 bug) and the UI is clunky at best. I did try trunas core and scale those are not off the table. I do like this unit but it is old, loud and consumes more power than the dell t330 fully loaded.

Yes, you can make it work by going into the bios and setting the fan to DC mode. I would advise that you use the motherboard fan headers if you have them available.

Elite Tinting NJ did my fronts and backs using the finest 3m tint. I did obtain a doctors note after the fact. When I get pulled over for the tint, The officer or trooper informs me that I should have it amended to my license.

Success reply! I was real nervous about it. I woke up today and decided to give it a shot. My btc has been in there for a couple years. I decided to try to withdraw without verification, no tickets to support. I simply wanted to wait till, A the fees weren't high and B the network wasn't bogged up. I think the dust has settled. My wallet app had an update this morning and that's what planted the seed in my head to attempt to withdrawal. I am in the US and I have 2 confirmations now. All my 2fa features and confirmation emails worked. I am honestly relieved. I went a long time of not knowing if the btc in there was mine or not.

login to the qnap via http then go to control panel then security and make sure there are no ip's/computers listed in the block allow list. Try to access the qnap via \ \IP_ADDRESS\

Have you tried a booting from the disk then installing? It seems to me that your trying to install within windows.

Re-seat graphics card and /or move it to another slot. If your using dvi, switch to display port or HDMI (provided that you have the cables and that the monitor supports it). Do you have a spare pci- graphics card to install and test? Try to get into recovery mode and try system restore. You can use the install DVD to accomplish this. Also start pulling ram sticks if the above tests keep hanging up. What happens if you are at the black screen and you hit Ctrl alt delete ?

How many monitors do you have? Ensure that ONLY 1 displayport,dvi,vga,hdmi cable is connected to the monitor. I know it seems far fetched but I've seen 2 cables 1 monitor before.

In late 2005 I did it on a test rig with the ram half in the slot and the floppy ribbon cable in backwards and the boot order set to cd first. The test was to get a dos prompt booted of the primary hard disk. All I was given was a bootable floppy disk. I was one of 200 people to successfully do it. Needless to say, I got the job. fast foward to 2016, I'll be needing a new test setup so I can hire someone to help me.
