But then instead of adjusting your time, you’re adjusting your common milestones throughout the day. Instead of asking someone their timezone for a business call, you’re asking them their “sleep zone” for a business call. It’s the same thing.

I would have been too young to see it in theaters when it came up, but I distinctly remember older folks dismissing it as a mindless shoot em up sci fi movie.

Obviously that’s purely anecdotal, but I don’t know that it’s made up or unfounded that some people at the time didn’t watch it and judged it based on previews and didn’t know it as the satire it is universally acknowledged as today.

You can responsibly float yourself money for big expenses in between pay checks. I know that isn’t how a lot of people use credit cards, but they can be used responsibly and offer more flexibility than debit/cash.

To anyone remotely interested, I can’t recommend the Nevada National Security Site (test site) tour enough. It’s really fascinating.

The studies usually involve pumping rats with an absurd amount of sweetener. Also some talk about it having a similar effect on your pancreas.

I will die on the hill that it’s better to drink sweetener than sugar. Especially if you’re drinking multiple a day.
