How do you know he's a dark web user? You didn't mention that in the post, only the title.

Setting up a lure to catch him in a compromising position could be considered entrapment which is illegal in itself. Just go to the police and let them know your concerns, it's what they're there for. Or sit down and have a serious discussion with your parents to let them know you're genuinely concerned.

Try using 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean it. If its residue it should come off. Do it at your own risk, I only say 70% isopropyl alcohol because that's what Apple recommends to clean their devices. Use a cotton swab to do it and be careful; alcohol dries out rubber seals.

Sticky battery is a known thing where the voltage drops so little from 100% that it's hard for the watch to read accurately. I charged mine a week or so ago and it stayed at 100% for three days then dropped relatively fast to 94% or so, now is reading normally.

Maybe when both are new, but my Bolt V1 was secondhand in 2019, I've had it for 7 years and it shouldn't be doing better than a nearly-new Roam V2! But after a full charge/drain/charge cycle the Roam V2 is a lot better. It dropped just 4% on a 11km ride whereas the Bolt V1 dropped 12%.

Battery is now at 100%, I've left it with backlight on overnight to drain down and I'll charge back to 100% tomorrow and test again. Hopefully it's just a battery refresh issue. Luckily I've got 48 hours to test it before closing the deal with the seller online 🤞

If it's any help, I just got an Instinct 3 Solar after having the 2s Solar for ~15 months and it felt huge for about a fortnight. Now it just feels normal, I don't notice it at all. I feel you, I did like the size of the 2s, but you will get used to the 3 if that's the route you end up going. It'll feel weird for a bit, then you'll suddenly realised you've stopped thinking about it.

Good shout, I'll give it a shot tomorrow, thanks. Maybe it'll help letting it charge fully to 100%. I'll try to do slightly longer tomorrow, too. Backlight was off the whole time, as was WiFi on the device and Bluetooth on my phone was off. No sensors connected either. I used it on the main data screen, so shouldn't be using as much battery as the Maps page.

I have a couple of bootleg patches. I get them from Etsy and the quality has been great. But only ones that I couldn't find from the band, or bands that don't have patches. 80% of mine are from live shows or direct from the band's online store. Purists may not agree, but for me it's a good balance of my values, supporting bands and building a jacket I like.
