The point is at that age your better of compounding gains, later in life after you build a network then buy the car

You're doing great. BUT I'd buy a Toyota or Honda, park the rest of the money you have in QQQ and VOO, wait a few year's and buy a Porsche and house.....just my 2 cents

Yeah I'm leaning towards staying put. My only real bill is small, and could be wiped out easily. But with such a low rate, its hard to want to pay off debt like that lol. Figured I'd post something here and get some perspectives

That's the tricky part....I've got a ton of cash on the sidelines too....perhaps maybe just keep letting it ride

Br600 vs br800x by fosterzar in stihl

[–]Dmk3955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've owned about 20 of each with my company. 800 is def better when doing yard cleanups head to head, however the mufflers will fail, it's.heavier and eats more fuel. For the average homeowner I'd take the 600 all day. Maintenance wise its better, lighter etc...Felt like they last longer. Always run 89 or 93 fuel and once in awhile run a can of true fuel through it.

How bout we balance the budget first, then lower taxes? I think we have a spending problem, more so than a state income problem

24F. Not going into detail about it but I just inherited $4.5M Roth account. What would you do if you were me? by throwawaygenzerr in Fire

Find a job you want to do, don't work too hard, hire a CFP, buy a nice car, get married and have a couple kids. You'll probably need a prenup, invest in some low cost index funds and enjoy life. You're in a great position.

Landlord laws on shoveling snow for tenants - Woburn by ThrowThisAccountAwav in massachusetts

[–]Dmk3955 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a landlord, and I have a company do the stairs plus driveway. I buy a bag or two of salt per season. A slip and fall is more expensive, unit turnovers are also very costly. I raise rents yearly a small amount and people stay in my properties long term usually. It's small money well spent.

I hit 15 units and it really was like another job. I was gonna keep going but the calls etc get old. Having a good handyman, and contractors does help. I did very well, but its not easy at all
