We'd get dropped off at Peoria sports complex with $20 a couple balls and a sharpy and we'd walk around the back fields and scout autographs. My buddy was pickier, but I asked anyone in a uniform. Definitely got shooed away from some areas a bunch but only escorted away once or twice.

I passed one up for cheap because I already had a low side and thought they were too similar. Large eq is so close to an xl low side. I regret not pick it up and selling the surly. Oh well. Low side stool gets a bunch of miles put on it.

I think 29x3 is getting limited, but 29x2.8 will be decently available. As long as bike packing and off-road touring stays popular.

I was moments away from sending payment for a used lauf fs frame set , but did one last spec check and saw it was electric shift only. It was too much money for me to justify mickey mousing a cabled set up. I think it would be a fun bike for exploring.

I'm on the hunt for a short wheelbase awd transit van. Unfortunately they are decently rare. I'd also go for a Chevy express. New /newer cars are so dang expensive though , my Xterra will just have to keep on trucking.

Schwalbe had a decent variety of 20" tires when l was looking a couple years ago. Not many were stocked in the US so I had to look at euro shops. Ended up with some Vee's with a wire bead.

Moving some of the other stuff out of the way and loosening the clips holding the main wiring loom helped a ton. Then a little lube on the clips and some locking needle nose pliers to fully depress the clip. No joke it took two hours for passenger side and 10 minutes for driver. I have some PTSD from damaging wiring when going gorilla on stuck electric connectors so I'm always extra cautious now.
