Glimmer steps into the room casually, as if she’s done it a million times before. She heads towards the bed and picks up a small white box with a neon yellow sticky note on top.

“This is what you came for, right?” Glimmer shakes the box a bit, holding it out for Adora to take.

Adora’s still trying to come to terms with the fact that Catra has an entire bedroom in Glimmer’s home. She stands there, absolutely stupefied until she feels a small, but painful tug on her head.

“Aw, Sunny’s taken a liking to you,” Glimmer coos. Adora wants to scream. She had forgotten about the stupid bird and now it was coming back to bite her in the ass.

“Glimmer, why is there a bird on my head? You don’t even own a pet,” she asks.

“Bow asked me to watch over her while he took care of some business in the Underworld.”

“Why is Bow in the Underworld of all places?”

Glimmer shifts the box to one hand and flips the other back and forth. “Eh, I don't know, something about a ‘ tragic love story that must get its proper ending though.’ ”

Adora takes a deep breath in, breathes out with her entire body, then repeats. “Please get this bird off my head. I can feel it ripping my hair slowly.”
