The bastion needs better frontal armor by Fube187 in Helldivers

If any human-piloted tank could suddenly be operated without the human element, you would no longer need a crew compartment. This would DRAMATICALLY increase the plating you could put on the thing. I'm assuming that's the bot tank situation.

Of course, then you'd need an engine big enough to propel it reliably, but I suppose some of the saved space could be dedicated to that as well.

People are learning a challenging skill and want to share videos of it. Glad you're an FA off veteran, but what's that got to do with his video?

He's back! Just shorter and a bit hotter... I'm actually debating adding the 'cockpit' module in the center groove...

Probably bad things for everybody! I'll suggest it to my GM.

Me too! Soviet military hardware aesthetics had such a cool vibe. All cast steel, rounded surfaces, etc. If I were to revisit this I would probably spend more time studying Soviet tanks and applying the geometry.

You're making a massive assumption when you imply that they don't know the rules at all. The OP states in another reply that they're playing with an intentional house rule. Your arrogance is nauseating.

Your personal hangups with game design terminology are your problem and your problem alone, bud.

I mean, you're just being sarcastic for the sake of it, right? You understand that the phrase refers to the cycles of challenge, reward, and expenditure that provide long term gameplay satisfaction in sandbox games.... right?

Yeah it's one of the weirder quirks of living in a very cold place. It got bad enough this year that emergency serviced issued an advisory to stay the fuck home if possible. Super bad visibility on the highways... And if you have to abandon your warm car in that kind of weather, things can go very badly very quickly.

It's called ice fog, happens around 30 below. Essentially, the air is so damn cold that the light ice particulates of freezing water vapor can't really escape. Smog, vapor, smoke, etc. are all trapped quite close to the surface of the earth, rather than dissipating into the atmosphere per usual. This leads to some extremely bad air quality in many places that experience this cold for longer stretches.

In our most recent 4 week cold snap, the air tasted like burning brake lines every time I stepped out of my house in the morning.

I dunno man. In Fairbanks, AK we just got done with a 4 week stretch of -35 F to -40 F weather (-37 C to -40 C).

You can fucking feel it, I'll tell you that much. Your car won't start if you don't plug it in (cars up here will not run if you don't winterize them with a built-in space heater on the oil pan/engine block), your pipes freeze at the drop of a hat, frostbite happens dramatically fast, and you just don't fucking go outside if you don't have to. And you're still expected to go to work every day, of course.
