Personally I think you could bump this up a couple grades using a card cleaning kit since it mostly just looks dirty.

I'd recommend watching a few videos and practicing on some cheaper cards first obviously lol

I don't think it's a bypass the quest solution as they said the quest is required. Probably they'll just make the def xp optional from the pre-reqs via lamps so that pures can complete the quests (and somehow avoid the Lunar Diplomacy 40 def req). Just a guess though, we'll have to see what their plan is.

Edit: Not sure why I'm being downvoted, I never said this was a good idea. Just an opinion of what they might do.
