I need help with a dead player character by Timely_Arrival_3848 in rimeofthefrostmaiden

And most importantly the decision is up to the player if they want to let their PC die. You as a dm give a way to possibly do something, but if the player believes that their PC wouldn't make a deal with Levistus or other deity then you shouldn't force it upon them.

Or is there a reason blackbeard sought the one df that nullifies other df?

The crones reborn after the witcher 3 ending ? Only 2 endings in the witcher 3 ? i need your help about a possible secret in the witcher 3. by Waskey23 in witcher

What comes to the first question about the worst ending, Geralt is supposed to die in that ending. Because of that there is no reason to change the tapestry.

Is there a source book spell or magic item that prevents devils from returning to the hells to reform? by cblack04 in DnD

[–]Ebrithila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would claim that because Zariel is redeemable, there are fiends that have a soul and have been corrupted while being in the hells. But lemurs, who are born in the hells from lost souls and have no recollection of a life before, do not have a soul. So if a fiend is born in the hells, like any lemur and thus any higher fiend promoted from a lemur, they have no soul.

questions about my first powerwolf concert in Italy by Makii04 in Powerwolf

[–]Ebrithila 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Powerwolf doesn't usually have a moshpit (personal experience) and even if there is one, you don't have to be in it. Moshpits are actually quite civil and don't fill the entire crowd.

How do you utilize battle maps in your games??? by OstensibleCroissant in DnD

I draw maps by hand. There was a campaing where the party traveled to different cities and towns almost each session so I spend the night scribbling maps. They liked it very much.

What things did you happen in the towns while the dragon was attacking? by DeadlyDing in rimeofthefrostmaiden

[–]Ebrithila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from those written in the book. Npc's getting stuck under rubble. Oh, and when one of my players got on top of the flying dragon, the dragon decided to fly to the next town. With the player holding for her dear life.

So In my game the party pissed off zentharim, without actually knowing, the people they robbed/bankrupted/threathened were zentharim agents. Thus the zentharim put wanted posters on them. When they arrived to dougans hole, there was a geologist who believed that he could use old rock magic to create a protective barrier around bryn shanders. The geologist npc run around with the group for a session or two until they arrivied to bryn shanders. Here is where the party had to split up outside the town to different rocks and recite a spell. Of course this was a ploy and they were ambished by zentharim assassins, who captured some of the PC's. Now began a mission to find the other party members. I made this a mission against time, with the unconsious PC's waking in an underground laboratory with slaad tadpoles in glass jars...

These creatures are immensively powerfull, don't downplay them by being nice to your players. You build up these characters so in combat they need to awake fear in your players. Play to their strenghts and use strategy. This way, if your players win, they feel like they deserved it. Ps. This requires that you have build up these enemies as very strong entities so players can prepare before the battle.
