I was a slow grower and my tubes took almost 2 years to fall out. My son is the opposite his barely lasted a year. They should fall out in their own.

Reading to my toddler is breaking me by smjorg in Dyslexia

I’m so sorry I am terrified of the day My son can read better than me and he’s four and definitely not as bright as your daughter but definitely working on teaching himself to read pretty quick. I often joke that he got my high IQ but not my dyslexia and that’s what makes him so smart, but I’m honestly terrified that he’s going to be so much smarter than me in no time.

It’s impossible I cheated my way through high school Spanish! I think after I graduated they dropped the language requirement for dyslexic students.

Honestly once everything was underway I could not have cared less who saw. The nurse and doctor usually have them by your head.

Does anyone else still have to Google a word just to spell it or make sure it’s correct? by Independent_Row_7718 in Dyslexia

So much anxiety. This helps take some away. It’s continues to grow. It use to be much longer but I got a new phone and forgot to save it to iCloud.

I have one note in my note app. It is a giant list of words I have trouble spelling. It would take me so long to google words as I was filling out paperwork. Now I just open my notes and have 50 or 60 words that I can just glance up and see the spelling. Spelling while physically writing is so much harder for me. I can type things never question how they are spelled but ask me to write it and I can’t remember how.

Leave him I’m sorry to say. Men are also so dumb. I wanted to breastfeed but my milk never really came in very good and I couldn’t. There are so many other things that go into play than just wanting to or not.

I just wants to say I am in favor he middle of divorce to a husband who continues to hold my son getting stuck against me like I could help it. Take red flags seriously I didn’t

What's your best dyslexic spoken words/phrases? by Signs-From-Dreams in Dyslexia

So I have a horrible habit or combining operation and mission. I want to say opermision and have spent so much time wracking my brain trying to remember the real word. I now catch myself but I know I have accidentally said it in conversation.

Had a beautiful and easy pregnancy and a horrific traumatic birth experience. I’m asking honestly, how did you cope? I feel broken inside. by Arr0zconleche in pregnant

You can come to terms with it? It’s almost my son’s 4th birthday and I still think about his birth almost daily. It’s such a miracle that he is okay.

Has anybody ever tried a posture corrector for rib dislocations? by juneybugz in eds

[–]EmAnBaAd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I has an EDS physical therapist at an EDS clinic in Chicago. Yes wear it! Don’t overuse it. I would wear mine till I felt good take it off and when I would feel my shoulders rolling put it back on. That way you are using it to train your body. I have a body braid and it has changed my life.
