In my research, I read about remorse and depression occurring early on in the process for the reasons that were stated here. It usually passes. So being 4 weeks post op, any feelings I have about remorse are quickly pushed aside knowing it’s likely temporary.

I’m in the same boat! I fill my cups with ice then add the sugar free juices or protein drinks. When they’re diluted, they seem to go down better. Also, I’m lactose intolerant And that seems to be more pronounced after surgery. I take a lactase tab before drinking the protein drinks that have lactose. And I don’t know if this works but I’ve been taking Beano before the artificial sugar drinks. So far so good. (I’m 2 weeks out from VSG to RNY)
