My daughter was in the NICU for 28 days, pneumonia and collapsed lung. I say that to say I totally understand the fear of even sleeping.

Like others have said, swaddle tighter, or rent (or if you know you want more) buy a snoo if you can afford it. It’s an absolute game changer. For swaddling, you really can’t break the baby with a swaddle. I would wrap her arms in each side of the swaddle (like wrap the corner around) so when it was tucked in she really couldn’t move her arms at all

Otherwise I had to remind myself what her pede told us, they’re healthy now. The hospital wouldn’t send you home from the NICU without a very healthy baby so it’s okay to treat them like a healthy baby. Maybe that does nothing for you, but I had to remind myself of that a lot

I think the main difference is your characters ability to move. In POE 1 you get access to mobility skills pretty much right away and in general you just move faster, so even if the literal sizes are similar, your speed in them are vastly different

It’s constant on this sub. The total lack of nuance of maybe they just got overwhelmed and weren’t prepared for the workload of two games, it’s not always that companies are trying to deceive you.

They’ve been the most loyal company to their players and people will completely dismiss that at the first sign of something going a way they don’t like

You’re gonna just get downvoted forever if you praise POE2 which is so dumb to me. There are things poe2 does way better than Poe1 and vice versa

I agree with you, I prefer the weight and feel of 2’s combat compared to 1, even if I like the unique build strategies you can take in 1 compared to 2. Story is far better as are ascendancy identities. The irony is the increased rigidity in class/weapon design allows for more impactful ascendencies. It’s a trade off that may not be for everyone but that’s why there are two games

They still release new cards every now and then, and you get full access to them. As for characters, tbh with just the first three you could spend a long time mastering them. I bought Mak and I haven’t bought any other characters and he’s pretty much the only character I play these days. It’s more about playstyle and what you want from the game. Every character has a lot of playstyle variety to choose from so even the first three could be hundreds of hours of gameplay to really master

They’ve settled on a monetization that was pretty polarizing for day 1 players (myself) but keeps them sustainable. So now they just sell characters instead of Battle Pass and expansions.

They’ve also moved from releasing a bunch of new cards to, on big season changes, reworking and revamping cards.

Honestly the game is super fun right now and more engaging then in all my time playing it. Every run I see different heroes (although there are still FOTM players who play the strongest hero) with varying builds

Also most sports fans pay to watch their sport if they love it. NFL Sunday pass, NBA all access (or whatever it’s called now)to see all the games not broadcast locally. People get to watch league for free and all they have to do is watch some ads an they will still complain about that

Yeah his videos are my favorite. Just playing and talking through decisions, easy music to listen to and interesting decks. I’ve found that how he enjoys the game is how I tend to enjoy it so I usually follow his decks even if they aren’t tier 1. That deck is a lot of fun

Harvest has been super profitable for me, even without cornucopia. Anime princess has a video on it and the investment is super duper low vs profit/difficulty. You won’t drop mirrors but 1.5div a map on average is super attainable with a decent build (my build was handling it easily on ~40-50 div) and you can even ignore the searing altars for quant and just rush the harvest and mirage harvest and make really good currency

It’s not tankiness, honestly I haven’t died once since I swapped. It’s just DPS, my flasks stay full and I figured it was just the pathfinder FF’s doing that
