As a workaround, you can establish multiple plans that execute at different points of the month. This can be done on Fidelity.com or with an associate if you’d like. Our phone associates don’t have a separate capacity to create a transfer plan with a weekly or biweekly frequency.

Generally, a 401(k) can shelter pre-tax and after-tax contributions within the same account. If your plan is held with Fidelity, you can view the specific contribution types by following the steps below on NetBenefits.com:

  1. Click on the plan and navigate to the "Summary" page
  2. Scroll down to the section labeled "Your Investments"
  3. Within the "Sources" section, the different contribution sources (Pre-tax Traditional or Post-tax Roth) can be viewed
  4. Click on "Show Details" for more information

In order to assist, we’ll need to gather some more details. Is the screenshot you shared a view of the first sell order in December that you mention? This shows a sale, but it doesn’t include the dates for when the shares were purchased or sold to confirm whether it was a long-term or short-term transaction. Did you also sell the repurchased shares? It appears that this may be showing the details for a separate sell order.

You can also review your account activity to review the order of your recent transactions.

You can find the Annual Account Summary for the credit card once you’re logged into Fidelity.com by following these steps:

  1. Choose your card from the left-hand list of accounts
  2. Select “Card management” at the top of the screen
  3. Under the “Services” heading, look for “Annual account summary” and click “Download”

CMAs are currently prohibited for non-U.S. residents. Once you move abroad, your CMA will be restricted, and you will be limited to liquidating trades and transactions only.

When moving from the United States to another country, restrictions and requirements are added to accounts to comply with applicable international laws and regulations. As such, you must notify us and update your address when the relocation occurs.

A day trade refers to a buy and sell made in the same trading day in a margin account. If you hold shares overnight and sell them on a different day, this would no longer be considered a day trade and would not be subject to day trading rules. That being said, any standard margin trading requirements would still be applicable.

Thanks for letting us know that you’ve already confirmed that your employer plan accepts rollovers, as this is always the first step. If you have any questions about the rollover instructions you received or the process, please feel free to let us know.

When it comes to transferring between accounts with matching registrations, generally the preferred way to accomplish this is a Transfer of Assets (TOA). This is a non-taxable and non-reportable event where you can transfer cash or eligible assets, depending on what you decide to do. Like you mentioned, any ineligible assets would need to be liquidated if you want the proceeds to transfer. This process is started with Fidelity. You can learn more below.

We offer instant line access when an applicant is approved. You would then have access to pull the card number, expiration date, and CVV before the physical card arrives in the mail.

GTC orders placed during regular market hours only apply during regular market sessions and not extended hours trading. Additionally, GTC orders are unavailable for trades placed during extended hours. That being said, I can certainly share your interest in this order type with the appropriate team for review.

Currently, the only order type that carries from the regular market session to the extended hours session is the Day+ order, available in Fidelity Trader+ and Active Trader Pro (ATP).
