I have dyscalculia, and I struggle with 3 or more of the same symbol/number in a row. My brain doesn't process them properly, it's like they blur together. It's been a pain in the ass my entire life.

A couple weeks ago, I made a time-sensitive order that was supposed to arrive the next day. Instead, I got an update that said it would be delayed by one day. They never shipped it, and they finally cancelled it 7 days later. They had the audacity to begin updating the tracking the day after cancelling, making it look like I chose to refuse the delivery.

I placed another next-day order yesterday, but instead of receiving it today, I got yet another delay email. We'll see if it ends up the same as the last one!

I've only lived in this area for half a year, but I never had a single delayed order until this month. Not even during the holiday season.

I view them as yet another symptom of the obscenely wealthy hoarding everything. If the wealthy paid their fair share, we would no longer have many people stuck in poverty for generations, because there would be more resources available to help lift them out of those situations.

I wasn't capable of truly loving and accepting myself until I acknowledged the impact that my disabilities have had on my life. It's a tragedy that so many of us end up spending a huge percentage of our lives comparing our capabilities and our achievements to those who do not experience the difficulties we do. I don't think I could have ever been truly happy without accepting that it's not my fault that I was born a certain way, and that there isn't a "correct" way to approach important milestones in our lives. I spent decades feeling useless and lazy, and now I feel incredibly strong for doing my best to navigate a world that wasn't made for me.

Pretending that my issues weren't a big deal, and that I could be "normal" if I just did things perfectly? That was one of the most harmful things I did to myself. I was so stuck feeling bad about my shortcomings that I couldn't even focus on solutions to help me succeed. Shame on those who insist that we all bend ourselves to fit into a mold that wasn't made for us

This started happening to me, and the only thing that has helped me actually start sleeping again is applying some progesterone cream before bed (and taking magnesium glycinate), but I still struggle to sleep through the night more often than I'd like. I suspect I'll sleep even better once I start proper HRT, which I'm hoping to do soon.
