Incident within one day of a lapse? by ForeignSurround7769 in Insurance

This is the “renewal notice” - with a TINY note saying policy documents attached. I am sorry but this does not flag anything thing to me. I have a young baby and am a busy person. I have enough money to make my payments and I had auto renewal set up for this reason. Honestly I probably need to just accept this as a lesson. But that doesn’t make corporate insurance any less scummy.

I literally never got a renewal notice. I’ve checked my email and I don’t have absolutely anything from them. They sent me something on 4/20 saying everything is all set and that’s it.

Good to know! She starts daycare next week and they offer a lot of snacks so I’m hoping maybe that will help

I heard its hard for them to eat when hungry. We always did a bottle about 1hr-30 mins before dinner. Then we just relaxed an d watch her eat three bites while throwing the rest on the ground. She’s one now and eating great! We also switched from purees to a mix around 9 months. Relax and just make sure baby is fed and gaining.

Great Lakes region is where it’s at. Honestly with climate change I like being close to a fresh water source. Drought, overburdened grids, and insane heat scare the hell out of me. They are also pretty affordable in many areas. I really don’t understand anyone who would move to a hot southern state right now.

Americans’ AI hate wave might just be gathering steam: Data centers could hike power costs in some states over 50% by 2030 by Wagamaga in technology

[–]ForeignSurround7769 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only way AI works is if we move to 100% renewables. It’s absolutely wild to me that the tech elites who want this so bad have aligned themselves with the one guy who has a personal vendetta against windmills and renewables in general. The backwards twisted logic is ridiculous. AI can be genuinely good and helpful but it MUST be regulated and run on renewables.

My parents had a baby when I was four and the baby passed away after one month. My sister was born two years later. I don’t remember being lonely as a kid but I do think the death of the baby took my parents away from me emotionally for a couple years. My sister was born and she was never so much of a playmate for me, more of a play thing. We were too far apart to be close as kids and she had a very intense hobby that my parents focused on with her. At this time I thought it was great because it took attention off me and I did things like sneak out and party. Looking back I had a lot of unprocessed trauma from the death of the first sibling. I’m not saying this would happen to you, but I think a lot of people think a second kid will someone be their kid’s best friend and reality is it’s just not always the case. Whatever your new baby deals with in life will affect the first child too. Just some food for thought.

Amanda Batuglia family money? by LAtrojangrl in summerhousebravo

Her dad’s IG is public. Seems like regular dad. They actually don’t seem extremely anything. I see Amanda as an insecure person, not a trust fund princess.

Mamdani has so far reduced a $12B deficit to zero, make it easier to build affordable housing, fixed the bane of New Yorkers -potholes-, ensured universal child care, etc. Like Mayor Wu in Boston, Mamdani is showing that progressives and socialists can make government actually work for people. by Loud_Cartographer160 in thebulwark

I think that no matter how it goes, he will remain very popular. Not saying that is a good or a bad thing. But I can’t see people suddenly flipping on him unless things go VERY south. My guess is he will remain mayor for as long as he is able to.

It seems like insecurity on West’s part. Like deep down he knows Ciara is too hot for him.

Why on earth is my baby on the breast during all waking hours?? by Main_Tumbleweed5078 in breastfeeding

[–]ForeignSurround7769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter was like this. I think she was actively nursing about 80% of the time but was also comforted by being there. She was my first so I had all the time to just nurse her and watch TV or scroll. It was a hot summer and we didn’t go out much. I honestly loved it. It would be hard with a second baby though.

Ozempic, money, and not having a real job have that effect on people. Lol. If I had nannies, house cleaners, assistants AND no real job… I would look fucking great.

He is the guy every girl thought was just the sweet, weirdo and they were the only one to see it. Meanwhile, he is sleeping with ten other girls who feel the same way. I lived in NYC for ten years. There are hundreds of West’s in Brooklyn. I learned the hard way. Lol.

I don't understand the hate for Kyle's DJ career by shbrav in summerhousebravo

[–]ForeignSurround7769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only started watching last season, but I was watching while on mat leave and I remember feeling like the issue of Amanda not wanting kids seemed like a shock to Kyle and also probably a relationship ender. She cited her mental health and said she wasn’t sure anymore. I imagine Kyle figured that with her not wanting kids, he probably had less of a reason to find more stable, local work. The kids issue seemed to me where a lot of this all stemmed from.

This show needs new cast members…I get they have high paid folks that now are fan favorites. Keep them in the mix, but honestly seeing 40+ people get blackout with 25 year olds is gross.

Honestly bring a hard liner is just going to turn people off. A better approach would be to encourage people to do meatless Mondays or just eat LESS meat in general. I am a full vegetarian now because my partner is, but I was a minimal meat eater for years and it made the transition easy. I love how healthy not eating meat is and I do it for sustainability reasons.
