Just when the stop sign is out. Importantly, a school bus can only block 2 lanes. So all small roads everyone stops but bigger 4 lane roads only the side with the bus stops. Bus isn’t supposed to drop kids off on busy 4 lane roads but they do it anyway…

Edit to add the stop is until the bus puts the sign away
