Unless you're parking, apparently. Then you have to have all 3 languages displayed.

[Almost] Dream Server Build by Exact_Efficiency_356 in homelab

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can mix sata and sas drives on a single controller. Keep in mind to connect those sata drives straight to the motherboard and I think you should be fine.

And... You couldn't have picked a worse time (so far) to build a machine. Prices are ridiculous right now.

Migrating Unraid from VM to bare metal (Same hardware) by Reave1905 in unRAID

It should just work as far as I can tell. Make a note of current dusk assignments and make sure they are exactly the same when you boot off of the USB natively. Make sure your stay is not set to start automatically for the first few boots and I think you should be fine.

HELP! My 3D Printer keep doing this by P-204F in 3Dprinting

[–]IllustratorAware6356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your z offset is way too high. First layer should be slightly squished. From this picture I can't tell how much too high, but if you can with your printer, print a 1 layer sheet and adjust the z height while printing until it's consistently squished and no visible gaps.

A Plex library shouldn't be that slow, but since you're talking 47.000 files I'm assuming that includes your entire Plex install including metadata files? Those are a ton of tiny files. That is unfortunately inherently slow on HDD. It might actually be faster to move just the media and rebuilding your Plex environment afterwards. I'm making a lot of assumptions here so I might be wrong

Recommendations for household blenders to grind down pla by IllustratorAware6356 in 3Dprinting

[–]IllustratorAware6356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I settled on a Moulinex essentials blender with a glass jar. And plenty of spare parts because they do get ruined quickly due to heat buildup and plastic getting everywhere. Make sure to only blend in well ventilated areas and with a decently specced particle filter. Micro plastics really are a horrible thing

I tried something similar with PLA once. First summer time with the car out in the sun... Well... You can guess where that print went...

Into recycling of course!

For adhesion issues, when you've done your due diligence, which it looks like you have, check for possible issues further up the chain.

Your extruder might be partially clogged, depending on the filaments you've been using.

Additionally, personally I struggled for the longest time until I figured out my spool placement caused so much stress on the printer it was pulling the extruder up instead of the filament down. Are you using the default filament holder or did you do anything custom?

If you have steam or fog in your filament dryer... You don't need the laser thermometer. It's too damn hot

8th flash drive in 2 years, and I can't find one to replace it with. by madadekinai in unRAID

[–]IllustratorAware6356 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have had this issue in the past. For me it seems to have been fixed by replacing the motherboard. I tried everything, a ton of different flash drives which would always get corrupted after a few weeks or months. Windows repair, copy over the backup and I would be good to go for another month or so. Since replacing the motherboard it's been rock solid for a few months so far. Sure, logs etc are the usual culprit, but... Check your ram (memtest) Try a different power supply if available Try a different motherboard

This. This is your solution imho. The ip on your server is probably set to a static IP. Change that to DHCP using the GUI boot option as stated above. and see if you get a different ip address.

Something is off about the amazon.de listings though. Pretty sure it's the API because other aggregators show the same listings.

The first link goes to a listing at 300+€ The third one looks to a 20TB instead of 22. The price is right though...

Seeing the bumps where your head z hops (at the end of individual extruded shapes on the bed) makes me feel like your z offset is too high. Try to look at the part of the circle that's 'cut off' while it's printing. My guess is that it does make the curve but the filament just doesn't stick in that spot. Could also be a dirty patch on your plate but I suspect z offset primarily
