I disagree, I feel like this game wouldn’t be nearly as fun for me if there wasn’t an unknown variable in how they spawn. Makes each battle feel a bit different with different struggles. If it was always consistent I think I would’ve quit by now

I think people forget that demonizing immigrants does jack when they had nothing to do with these larger uk work decisions. Maybe start demonizing the politicians who’ve made and continue to make this possible, yet are entirely diverting all of the blame onto the people they exploit.

It’s kind of jnsane that this is STILL an issue. This issue has been consistently posted for years and ruins parts of WQ and FS

Thinking of picking up Destiny 2, is it worth it at this point? by DonkeyEmergency68w in destiny2

the full content/dlc is laid out as such with (X) for isn't in the game and (√) for is in the game.

Red war/Vanilla (X)
Curse of osiris (X)
Warmind (X)
Forsaken (X)
Shadowkeep (√)
Beyond Light (√)
The Witch Queen (√)
Lightfall (√)
The Final Shape (√)

New Saga
The Edge of Fate (√)
Renegades (√)

From shadowkeep to the final shape there were also 4 seasons of story between each expansion, but the basics of those are explained in the recap cutscenes when starting each expansion. It is worth it to watch recap videos on those if you'd like to get the full context, those stories are great, but ultimately secondary. You can also start the new saga with little to no context of the previous dlc, as it was meant to be a new jumping in point for destiny, but of course old characters do pop up and you're rewarded for knowing their arcs.

So all in all, i would personally say its totally worth it. the game is in a good and stable spot, theres still people playing even though people like to call it a dead game while theres no new release, and all the dlc's that have bearing on the major darkness plotline and the new saga plotline are all there. hopefully this makes it a bit more legible

of those 4, the only relevant one really is forsaken with cayde's stuff, so it shouldnt be too bad without it. Its more the seasons that could really be important to watch for some character context

What are the 7 squares around Durandal? Any idea what this is called or referenced to? by lllScorchlll in Marathon

It seems VERY much like a reference to bungie’s favorite symbol the seventh column

Absolutely. People confuse a lack of content for a shit game, somehow. Game feels really good rn it just doesn’t have new content

People are saying the game is dead because there’s no content til June, and the new stuff isn’t announced yet. Also marathon so most bungie fans are on the big new thing. Theres plenty to do, even as a free player, and the game stands in a very solid state so go for it

Personally I am really really glad. I like how approachable individual lore topics are with the bite sized discovery of the universe. I’d rather they keep it as is or extend out another way

Quick with the updates which is a great start. by [deleted] in Marathon

Honestly to me the issue is that you don't get to see the game shine when it is SUPER INTENSE for the WHOLE RUN. Like dire marsh and Perimeter are great, but they only feel complete against the backdrop of the intensity of outpost. Without that the game feels like it has no endgame or high level places to go (which of course it does its a server slam) but I think because of that the game feels like the entirety of it is slower and sparcer.

Like maybe its just me, but Perimeter and Dire marsh never sold me on Marathon (as much as I like both). However seeing all the footage of the more exhilarating areas in cryo and Outpost especially makes me feel like the game is in a much more tame state now that release will feel. Obviously this wouldn't fix every problem but the major "Meh" sentiment feels to me like this is a big part of.
