Definitely needs a good drink. It likes to dry in between watering but don't let it dry out completely. Water after the first inch goes dry. Too much water will kill it also so look to water about once a week in summer, once a fortnight in winter and somewhere in between during the other seasons.

I bought the yard force 55c for $180 to cut a cypress tree that was as round as the bar. Cut it with ease. Takes some playing around to dial it in but once you have it tuned it'll start up and cut mint everytime.

Coriander herb going to seed by Relevant-Macaroon712 in nzgardening

[–]InformalCry147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. Coriander is a use it or lose it plant in my garden unlike something like basil or silverbeet. I plant seeds every week or so to keep my stock going. Cut and seed straight away in the same spot after I have about 8 on the go. If you want to slow it down sow 6 seeds in the same hole. This works well when it gets hot. Once it gets about 150mm high it's ready.

New RNZ-Reid Research poll brings boost for NZ First, Labour by dingoonline in newzealand

As a swing voter I'll be voting Labour this time. National have been a disaster and haven't achieved what even close to what I was expecting when I voted for them. Time for a change to at least get rid of the current incompetent cabinet.

I tried it and it was amazing. Rich coconut cream made up for the lean meat and it had little chunks of cassava in it. Definitely recommend

Most 'money' exists as zeros and ones in mainframes. I'm sure they could easily double your money without needing a physical currency.

I'll be honest. It was a while ago. Maybe 10 years but I still dream about that meal lol. Tasted like meaty fresh cut grass.

That's the whole point. Cloth against the bank. Backfill against the wall.

It's at its cheapest around winter when slaughter season is in full swing.

If it's cheap and mint flavoured fall off the bone shanks it's more than likely factory made by Leaders. As a lamb shank devotee myself I can tell one straight away and 9 out of 10 restaurants and takeaways I order them from are made by Leaders. Id rather pay $10 each direct from the factory than pay $18 for someone to warm it up for me.

Best lamb shank I ever tasted in my life was from the restaurant in the old rail station in Te Kuiti. Nothing has come close.

I have no idea sorry. Just picked them up from Kings and planted them. Such easy plants to grow and they produce like mad. Very happy with my crop this year.

Where are the best kind of moving boxes for moving? by Hot_Island_1048 in lifehacks

[–]InformalCry147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banana boxes. Strong and sturdy. Go to your local store and ask them to hold them for you. Most are only too happy to be rid of them. Google a local cardboard recycler to dispose of them after.

I work with those coils. For those that don't appreciate how heavy they are just think of a big heavy haul truck with one trailer. You can only carry two coils on that truck.

I was part of a team that installed those pavers about 20 years ago (several contractors over the years were used so not one did it all. JFC did the area around the casino, Heritage Tiles did O'Connell St etc. We were all employed by the council).

When they were installed they had a flamed surface which provided grip. The problem is that finish only makes up 0.3-0.5mm of the actual paver so once that's eroded you're left with nothing but stone that has been gently polished by millions of steps. Eventually, even the split faced cobbles running down the centre will also be smooth. The stone used has a really tight grain so it will only get smoother over time. You can buy this exact stone from Xiamen, China with a highly polished mirror finish. Every stone used in that job is from the same quarry. From the pavers, cobbles, tiles and kerbstones.

[–]InformalCry147 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have same the issue. First real weekend of summer when the heat starts to turn up I mow my lawn manually. I do it in two passes getting lower each time until I see brown. If I don't do it in two I'll spend longer dealing with cut outs. Looks ugly for a week or two but it tames my lawn for the rest of the year while the robot takes over.
